Thank you so much Lisa! *quietly steps away from the laptop and does a little victory dance because her favorite TarotTuber has watched one of her videos 🥰 *
Oooo I got stars in my eyes. I am the same way about being reluctant in using expensive decks. That’s why I’m all about them backups because I love experiencing the deck. I actually got a back up copy of the indie wild unknown tarot and I’m super excited now I get to experience the deck and not worry.
I’m totally with you! Having a backup for me means being able to really enjoy the deck without worries. If it’s a MM backup of an indie deck it’s even better 🥰🥰
Hi Silvia, the walkthrough really shows the decks well. I love the Hayworth (have it!) ~ such a witty deck! The 4 Pentacles cracks me up ~ he's keeping his stuff for sure, but he's also stuck! Really fun deck. I also have both editions of the Tyldwick, the second one was either printed much darker than the first, or I got a dark copy ~ either way, if you can find a first edition for a reasonable price, the colors and contrast are a bit brighter IMO. Sadly, I can't do many of the very busy collage decks b/c of a vision impairment ~ everything blends together ~ but I did get (and love) Tierra May's deck and really enjoy that one! Can't wait to see more of your collection!
Thank you! I know, I would love to get my hands on a copy of the first edition of the Tyldwick but the last time I’ve seen it fir sale it was $650 US which is way over my budget 😩 That’s ok though, I still enjoy the second edition. I had the Ritual Tarot but I’m going to get the second edition so I re-homed the first one. Thanks for watching:)
@@fairlighttarot Is the 2nd edition of the Ritual same as the first except with titles? I''ll keep my eye on Ebay over here for first copy of Tyldwick and if one pops up for a reasonable price I'll let you know!
That would be great thanks 🙏 The second edition of the Ritual Tarot is going to have titles, a 2 parts-box and full page descriptions for the minors as well as the majors 😁
I hope you don't mind if I write a novel...I have a medium tarot collection...about 200 decks sometimes a few more and sometimes a few less, but that is where I am comfortable. Bonestone was so fun during the creation process. The meet-ups were a lot of fun and wild. I am sorry Avalon ran into so much hardship before getting the deck out because people were so angry. They came for her with every delay. I felt bad for her. Loved the deck, I even had the sepia-toned one she sells on MPC, loved it. Comes in a tin and the stock is wonderful to shuffle! But I traded the sepia one for 2 Ciro Marchetti decks - I figured I could repurchase that one if I missed it too much. I couldn't deal with the delicate edges of Bonestone. I sold it for a ransom. And I figured she'd reprint eventually. I got the Gentle Tarot in a trade and proceeded to order the mini with the big book. What a fantastic deck and wonderful creator, I will eventually get Songs of the Grandmother's Oracle! I think Ink Witch reminds me a little of Sassy Burrito + Gentle Tarot and subtract the color. I think about that one. I remember the first time Tarotbot came to Kickstarter, years ago. I thought it was cute, but I never got that one. Bohemian Gothic is my favorite Baba Studios deck, I got the mini one first, and I am completely bonded to it. I got the big one in a trade later. Love the cardstock on the mini. I had Dark Mansion, I knew I wasn't going to love it. It is cool artwork, but I just hated that cardstock! Interestingly enough, I have a first-edition Brady Tarot, it has that velvet-touch cardstock and I like it for that one. I had the second edition and sold it. I am so excited to get the new deck by Monicka Saki-saki. It is on its way! I should have gotten a backup to trade. Oh well. Also sold my Kickstarter version of Oat. I got a seconds copy w/out a box...and I LOVE that deck, still haven't gotten the Dragon one, maybe when her new deck is done, I will go for both. I like to hear about other people's opinions on all these decks because we're all so different as readers! OMG! Desert Illuminations was one of those I had to have! I grew up in and around Santa Fe, NM. It's SO perfect. Aliens and the cactus buttons are Peyote by the way. The cowboys and conquistadors and of course Our Lady of Guadalupe!! Just the best. I also missed the Oriens Kickstarter, but found the mini at a great meta bookstore in Portland. Yes, I very much enjoy the colors and the cardstock. What a beautiful deck, yowza. Tyldwick was the first deck I bought myself. Waaaaaayyyy back when Neil was still living. I loved his work so much, he will be missed. I think his brother is working on another reprint. I have one of his Classic Crime Lenormand. It is cool. I had Blood Moon Tarot and sold it. I didn't get the book, but I like Sam's art. I figure they will eventually do a reprint. Okidoki, next video. Nice to meet you.

Loved to see your collection. I am so curious about the pdf you mentioned that someone put together for the Tyldwick Tarot. If it's not too intrusive to ask, is it still available somewhere? Was the person that made it a tarotuber or someone that I could reach out to myself? I hope I am not overstepping a boundary to ask. Thanks!
I love your video, but one critique...Why do people showing off their decks, sometimes show them all or most of them in the thumbnail or beginning of the video? (Which you did). It gives it away. I know decks really well, and I scanned the boxes in the first part and am ready to click off because I know most of them. But you know, I would have stayed if I didn't know what they were up front. WITH SO MUCH LOVE!!!!! YOU ARE AN AMAZING PERSON AND I LOVE YOU! I just wanted to mention that little rant...lol I see it happen alot and it's frustrating...LOL
I was born in Australia and our old mate the huntsman I know will be the thing that kills me 😂 At 53 I am getting a little bit braver but there's not enough years left in my life to get over my fear as I have had way too many mortifying experiences with them 😂

Regarding The Bonestone & Eartflesh Tarot, the author states that the price is US$444.44 which might be a fair price for an OOP deck. But she also 'might' re-print the deck (with changes and smaller book). In my opinion, that changes everything. Why would I pay the huge price if the deck will become available again, either second printing or mass market. Or am I missing something?
You know I feel the same way. I bought wandering star and then mass market for $22. Why would you waste your money?
