We had no plans on racing this day. Just went to the parking lot to goof around and ended up having some fun competition.
This was Chris and Tony's first time really getting to experience their new cars and it was Chad's first time really racing with my Maxx.
Pretty evenly race but I'd love to try this again in the future and plan it out better. Let me know your thoughts or any other suggestions you might have for the channel.

the internals on the granite and big rock are the same but the big rock does have a high speed bearing as well. big rock is about half an inch shorter in height but one inch wider and longer than the granite so their performance is pretty close they just handle a little differently.

how to take corners on a tall wheelbase RC monster truck
Cut throttle just before entering corner, apply a tiny bit of brake to load up the front end then counter steer full throttle out of the Apex unless you start to traction roll. When you hit the car you had just come flying out of the Apex the wrong direction then steered the wheels which were just plowing because there was no weight on the front end.
I used to have a tiny little RC track with a vicious uphill downhill loop and I became a master of pushing monster trucks to their limit.
used to love racing 2 Wheel Dr. stampede VXL and whooping on four-wheel-drives. I wish they still made that truck I am looking for one all the time.

It's definitely faster than that but it was his first run and he was just getting use to the vehicle. we were just messing around. 🤙

Chad look I have my xmaxx and it is so much fun driving it what happened was it did a wheelie and the rubber from the tire flew off and the maxx well I crashed into it not hard like a soft tap and the wheel fell off I broke a driveshaft on it I just need new tires for my xmaxx I’m going to get the sledgehammer tires for my xmaxx

Looks like a blast, great video guys. One thing Ill say is something was definitely up with that Big Rock. Trust me, its NOT slower than the Granite, they use exactly the same electronics and gearing. Clearly he was taking it easy for some reason 🤷♂️
We were just dicking around not a serious race at all as you can tell we weren't even keeping track of the laps just what place we was in. The guy with the big rock just got it a couple days prior and had never driven a fast rc before so he was just getting use to it. but you should see him rip now!🚀

I think it's safe to say we all won that day because we had so much fun laughing at ourselves and being idiot's 🤣👍
