Can you play the tune backwards? I imagine that you can feed the paper in backwards, but can you go backwards and forwards by reversing the direction of the handle's rotation in the middle of playing, allowing you to play short loops of forwards then backwards? Can you feed the paper in so that the high notes and low notes are reversed?

You can only wind clockwise, but it would be possible to take the paper off the roll and stick it on backwards. But if I do that, I may discover hidden messages from the devil....
