This is the kind of content UA-cam lacks when it comes to S scale and I love to see it! How-to videos like this would really help get people interested in S, layout builds and how-to's in other scales are pretty popular on UA-cam.
Great beginners how to. Good you had the space for all of the gear. Doing a 44 tonner is big fun. My WSLC #12 shay was 7 years and 8 decoders until I was happy with it. 175 S Scale DCC installations and more to come. Thanks for posting.....
I purposely chose a big one so I could show what I was up to with clarity, but yes, a 44 tonner or a shay is a whole different beast. SW units can be a little tight, but i have done several without too much trouble.
