Trust me it's not that hard. But to start to give yourself an idea of what's it like give your self a middle part all the way back and do it in four sections. Go section by section and part with your fingers but don't make them large. I did that and I felt more comfortable. Now I can master doing part as I learnt how to manage the back of my head . The one thing I was always worried about was how my hair looked when going out since I mainly did my hair by myself it. Normally I would have my mom do it but I'm abroad atm and she won't be here till next week soo I had to do it myself. I feel more confident to go out cause in know my hair looks good now. I even self taught myself to do cornrows. The one piece of advice is to just try any hairstyle you want by yourself to get the feeling of it and to not be worried about how your hair looked when you go outside cause it bothered me every time I used to go out because I always felt like people were saying how crazy it looks but I didn't. Twists, wash n goes and cornrows are what I would say grew my hair.

I mean you can do short twists in 3 months if your hair is long enough to twist. I twisted my hair and it has been about 5 months ( my hair is 5 inches) but I think it will work with 4 inches

Question- For wash day , do u prefer to still wash ur hair while its in the twists or u take them out? How long do u leave in ur twists for? And finally- When taking them out, do you cut the elastic and then gently unravel the twist?
