I also prefer to get PS5 versions of games, but for collectors I think it's better to have the PS4 version with PS5 upgrade option because you can play the game on both systems.
At a surface level that's true, except there is no reason to ever play a ps4 version of a game if you own a PS5. I never owned a ps4 so I don't have a proper viewpoint.

I bought the switch version, they will probably release it on ps5 at some point.
