What do you guys think of this build? I'm not sure it gets much better than this for $1200, and it's amazing to see 1440p-oriented builds become this cheap again 😁
dope & clean bulid
@@darkshadowx803 thanks man!
I have 2300 dollars budget. live near Micro center. Help
Finally built my first pc you were a massive inspiration thank you for all you help!!
@@GeekaWhat Id love to see some itx builds
been waiting for a video like this on this budget ...you are awesome keep it coming thank you !!
Thanks man!
I am super glad I found this video, I’m grateful for you man 🐐
I feel like this budget (1200 give or take) is the best value
Agreed! It's really amazing what you can build for 1200, it feels like we're (partially) back to what it was like a few years ago
agreed it gives high performance along with upgrade paths

@@purpleraptor1183 ok lol
just wanted to say your videos have helped me a lot to pick out, build, and set up my new gaming pc (7800xt, 7600x, 32gb ram)! you really helped simplifying the process of building my pc. and man isn't it much more rewarding to build your own rather than getting someone else to do it:)
glad to hear it dude! :) great work on the rig!
Can you pls do a pc build on ryzen 7 7800x3d and rx 7900 gre
Absolutely using the build to get my wife into gaming. Thanks!
did you build this after for her? if so i need some help
I Always like most and everything you're content miser the way you talk giving information and tips guides is so clear to understand and its also almost everything is simplified I'm a big faan🎉😄😄
Thanks for watching!
Always be here to voluntarily view like every one of your video ❤
Would you recommend a prebuilt or build it yourself for a first time pc gamer? I wanna get a decent 1080p & 1440p build but not spend an arm & a leg Lol
Please keep on making these 1200 pounds builds. Im planning on building a new pc next Christmas (not this years. 2025 Christmas i will build it) and i wana get the most performance i can get at a £1200 bugget. Also great vid keep it up!
Damn u planning 1.5 years in advance
@@chemicqls yep
You have 1500 (in usd) budget. That should be enough for a solid build.
@@CPC4U ok thx
did you get all the thermal past off the pads before installing that cpu
Thank you for another one of these! Could you do the benchmarks with Fortnite on all high settings and not just competitive settings?
No probs dude!
@@GeekaWhat 😁keep up the good work
What monitor, keyboard, and mouse are you rocking?
I eventually want to upgrade my Ryzen 7 3700x and 5700xt to a Ryzen 7thousand and 7700xt, but I don't have the budget atm. Would it be a good idea to get the GPU now and eventually get the rest of the parts?
Is it possible to build everything aside the RAM and put it in last? I've ordered everything and it's been delivered aside the case which is arriving tomorrow and the two RAM sticks arriving Friday
Hello James. I am a 15 year old boy based in Albany, NY. I am very new to PC's having never bought one before and I was thinking about buying all of the parts for your most recent 1200$ PC build. I was wondering if after i buy the PC and build it a boot it up if there is anything I have to di after that like install any software or anything like that or if I can start gaming. I hope you see this and if you respond then thank you so much.
Do you prefer 2x140mm fans over 3x120mm fans? Also, do you think an mATX motherboard would have been a cheaper and better fit for this case? If you were to stream while gaming, would you need more fans? Lastly, would an AIO be better if you are streaming with this build?
Can you please specifically do a 1440p 144hz+ gaming/streaming PC build? Budget, Nice, and Ultra? :)
Where do i use the 45W cable for that comes with the smart bm3 850W i cant find a place on the motherboard to put it in
I got the Gigabyte P850GM 80Plus Gold PSU, is this OK with the other mentioned parts??
i found my new build thank u
could you put a link to buy this set with all components on this video
The gigabyte gaming x ax v2 does come with gen 5 nvme ssd
Could you use the zalman p30 case once?
I was wondering if you could respond, how does minecraft work? ( on this pc ) and how do you get windows 11 on it?
Is this really the best performance for price?
Counting upgradability and whatnot
I want 240fps on mainly Warzone and Fortnite at 1080p, what should I get ?
also just so u know all your gpu links bring you to the Sapphire pulse version not the gigabyte one
does any one know why the CPU is so low usage in the benchmarks and how do you use gpu only for gaming?
Any other case that have more airflow??
I found a used-good hp pavilion 705-G1 with an amd ryzen 7 thats 3.6ghz and has amd radeon graphics with windows 10 for 150 dollars is that a good deal(I just wanted to be able to record and run minecraft and roblox at over 80 fps on good fps settings)
Any use can other cases?
everything the same but a different harddrive and case and my overwatch keeps crashing but only overwatch. anyone help?
Will the b650 x ax v2 motherboard work?
i cant find a way to fit my usb 3.0 into the port any tips?
Could I pair a i9 12900k with the rx7700xt???
I am a big fan of your banger videos which have best prices, combos, and bendmarks for everything. Currently I am planning to make a 2000 dollar pc build. It includes a 4070 super, ryzen 5 7600x, 32 gb ram ddr5 corsair vengeance, Samsung 2tb 990 ssd, gigabyte all white motherboard (forgot its name), nzxt h6 flow rgb case, deepcool ls720 se wh liquid cpu cooler, and a corsair rm850 850 w 80+ gold. I am just worried about my compatibility issues and combo… it would be great if you could tell me what I can improve on!
Forgot to mention, it’s a all white pc
I found a prebuilt here in germany price is 2200 with a 4080 super 16 gb 32 gb ddr5 and amd ryzen 7 7800xd3
That's only about a $1,200 worth of performance if we're being honest.

I am upgrading my AMD system, the budget is around $800:
- Ryzen 5 2600 -> Ryzen 7 5700X ~ $170
- B350 PC Mate -> B550 Tomahawk ~ $135
- GTX1080 -> RX 7800 XT ~ $500
Are there any better options? Would love to hear eveyone's thought
Impressive! Could you do a PC build for GTA 6 thats kinda budget 1500 but still performs well, I know it´s difficult to know but i think u can get it done. Im trying to build my first PC and want it to be futureproof and very high fps(300)
GTA VI hasn't even been announced on PC yet. Probably will be out at least 6 months to 1.5 years after it launches on consoles.
The 7600x doesn’t get a stock cooler included
Sweet spot for a pc
Agreed!
Wouldn't a 7900gre and 7600 (nonx) be an even better value?
I wish I could afford the parts for this build. Hell, I wish I could afford just a new TV for my PS4 for less eyestrain.
I have a very similar build to this. My game keeps crashing to desktop with no errors. I have tried everything. Completely out of ideas.
I have a question is he talking about 1200$ cad or usd
hey guys i’m building my first ever pc, i’m upgrading from an i7 7700k and 1050 2gb
here’s what i currently have
case - nzxt h5 flow
ram - corsair vengeance ddr5 32gb 6000mghz
cooler - kraken 280mm elite
psu- msi mag 850w
storage - kingston 2tb 7000mg read write
mobo - msi z790 pro s with intel support
here’s what i need, im debating whether to get i5 13600k or the i7 13700k. currently price difference is $100. is it worth going up?
here’s the gpu i have my eyes on 4070ti super.
if someone could give me input whether this is good or not that would be great! i’ve done extensive research but im still not knowledgeable about parts. budget around $2500-$2700 and this should all fit within!
Plz make Itx build
1440p va 165hz monitor or 1080p ips 1080 180hz for gaming and edting with rx 7800 xt...........
Everything is upgradable ?? For the future?
Yep
I got a micro atx mb on a E-ATX case and I don’t regret it I’m future proof af. Never buying a new case in my life
Fair point!
isn't gigabyte motherboards bad? And AMD gpu bad?
why not use the rx 6800 i am really curious i want to build my first pc but i'm sticking with the rx 6800 instead of rx 7700 xt
The 7700 XT is more powerful in our testing, newer generation and has enough VRAM for 1440p.
Yay!!
finally someone that doesnt spend 150 dollars on water cooling on mid range cpu.
Are these pc up for sale or what do you do with them? 😭
Watch this space on this…. 👀
which cooler would you recommend me for 14700K ??
Phantom Assassin is great, only $35 as well
@@bloodyax8070 Thanks, so you recommend me this air cooler over an AIO?
@professorgamer2084 depends on your budget. AIO typically costs more but beefs up your pc aesthetic wise
What is the difference between a rx 7900 gre, XT and XTX and non XT???
the 7900 XTX is faster than both of them but also performances better in games than both
How powerful they are, the 7900 XTX is the most powerful, followed by the XT and finally the GRE. There is no non XT version to my knowledge :)
If I was building a 1440p systems I'd buy the GRE, while the 7900 XT and XTX will be better for 4K systems. Hope this helps!
26GB ram ussage in CoD WZ3 😮
Wait did I hear Mr $300 case and aio just say less on case more for performance? The END IS NEAR 😂😂😂
Lol even I laughed at that one… 🫣
Why is this better than something like the Ryzen 5 5600X and RX 6800 XT
i have $60 can i possibly build this if i find some good deals??
lol
Could you may include Minecraft with Iris Shaders and Booby Mod at 64 chunks renderdistance, would be awesome. I really love this build, my next one go in this direction but a bit more expensive because of estetics
Soooo skimming over the case wires?? I've got this build now finally and have done the cpu, gpu and motherboard cables but completely lost with the case ones. Manuals are useless too!
And your wiring guide doesn't match the case cables or motherboard
Geekawhat can u make 950$ pc build Ty!
Leave it with me!
@@GeekaWhat ty
If you're gonna label the video as "1440p", you should just stick with it and not dabble in showing 1080p gameplay, that's my two cents, good video otherwise
Fair point! Thanks for the feedback :)
So in Canada if anyone is wondering this build on newegg costs $1729 as of this comment and the CPU is like 40% off rn
The GPU sadly costs about $620
But if you convert that to pounds its only £992
YaY, AMD..
What a nice change too see an all AMD system build..
I've done quite a lot of all AMD builds on the channel recently. They make a lot of sense at most price points for both CPU and GPU :)

AMD GPUS consuming too much power and that's why i don't prefer to use them. Best combine for me is Ryzen processor with Nvidia GPU
I feel tremendously jealous of the price you "gringos" pay for a PC like this.
Things are so pricey in Brazil. 😢😅
this video is just AMD trashing Nvidia and Intel, and I'm all for it
Hahaha
James, can you please stop benchmarking the same games? I get it, ppl love COD, Fortnite, Apex, but please test other games. Horizon Forbidden West just came out, Ghost of Tsushima is coming out next month, Helldivers 2 came out in Feb. test those games.
Fair point. We can’t really win as if we take out these OG games people complain. Happy to look at this and make sure our testing includes variety! :)
