Interesting, I never had a big muff of course in the 90's I was pretty much just bass. Also, glad you got a working compressor, I would've responded on that video but I was busy working and it finished before I could put in a comment.
This Big Muff - at certain settings - reminds me of the 90's for sure. It was my main pedal for years. I guess I forgot to mention in the video - mine met it's demise when my then 3 year old pulled all the knobs off, so I sold the carcass of what was left for studio time.

@QuestForGear When I was younger, I didn't like the fuzz pedals as much. I felt like they sounded too weak and flat, but I'm starting to really dig them now. You really need to know how to dial them in I suppose.
It has been... 21 years since I used this make and model... and I now remember that there are trouble spots. The Low mids can really get... bad, quickly. It can be a really swampy pedal. Another guy on youtube says he would use this one for studio but the re-issue for live - as it's more manageable / easier to make it behave. I'm not great at dialing them in quickly.
@@QuestForGear Yeah, definitely. They are tricky beasts. I can see why he'd use one or the other for certain situations.
how does the foot switch feel compared to a standard one? looking forward to the comparison!
