- SO we have FINALLY found a car that has taken the 600BHP Evo 6 OFF the top spot as my personal favourite number 1 car on the channel.. yes a BMW! What has happened to me?!
But seriously; this car is something else.
Here is a review on my first ever drive in a BMW E46 M3, and this M3 is certainly unlike any other, this is a full track spec M3 which has been built with one purpose in mind; racing. So I've been truly spoilt here, so sit back and enjoy the review!

2020 has been the year of appreciation for this chassis, values going up as more realise how special they are and fewer are left on the road. Do a buy!
It’s great to see someone enjoying the BMW E46 m3, I had one 8 years ago sold it and regretted it, saved and bought another one 2 years ago and love it every time I drive it... amazing car and the last true M3... get one while you can it’s getting harder to find a decent, well looked after version!!!

I will never understand what the hype is all about with the E30 M3, here in south Africa, we got the 333i inline 6 instead of the four pot E30 and according to me, it is leaps and bounds above the European E30 M3.... The E46 M3 is arguably the best shape and best persona M3...

I'm a total dsm fan and would never step into a bmw, until I got an e46 m some years ago and felt the way you did in the seat.lol. Honestly can't stop watching. I want to make mine this way but with interior and no roll cage. Been dying for that kidney intake. Ooooooooooooo.🤯. Hilarious how you leave the car like, " noooooo, no no. . Too sick".
Sick car. Fun fact lightening the flywheel allows the engine to rev faster. Nothing to do with weight saving. Keep up the great work you hero 👏
Also taking 5kg from a flywheel is like taking 150kg from the car in 1st gear so massive savings for cheapness. 🙃

I love a nutter turbo car . Especially cosworths. But sweet lord the noise of a big n/a engine screaming takes me back to watching the opening scene of cannon ball run as a kid.
I love turbos, superchargers and big na engines. 3 of my last 4 cars have been a 5.0 V8, 5.4 V8 supercharged and a 5.0 V10. I own a turbo car now but it's the daily. The na is for fun. Changing gear at over 8k rpm, the engine getting a second wind at 6k rpm, and the sound. Turbos are a sound suppressor but some do sound nice. A straight 6 turbo wouldn't a chore.
Dream car, dream build. Got some tickets on already but gonna be sticking a load more on on payday.

Your cruising through high beech. I was in an car crash just before the biker cafe . It use to be national speed limit through there I was a passenger in a MK3 escort coming through there at 2 in the morning at and they just put the first speed hump that day . The hump broke the steering rack an we shot up the right hand bank hit 2 trees 6ft off the floor at 70mph . Driver was showing off for the girls (as you did in 96) and we all ended up in hospital, half dead and lacerated. All 4 of us survived.

To be fair, the new German stuff is boring but any car from the early 2000s back will have some character... Even a Fiat Multipla 😅
@John Mitchell I can agree with that, with a couple of exceptions - almost all new cars this side of a Lotus Exige/McLaren are boring in my eyes.
I love jdm cars but some of the older nice stuff are very expensive to maintain and tune, plus it's hard to find a nice example these days that hasn't been dogged, then parts are becoming more scarce. Where as you can get some early 2000 German cars that are cheap to get power our of, parts are easily found because they use alot of similar parts on other cars and brands. They also maintain a nice driving feel that's absent in modern cars.
@@MikelDog one of the benefits with BMW is that they continue to make and support older cars as well. Sure you'll pay a bit more, but it is nice to have the support there.

Easily the best BMW ever made, however they are best suited to a supercharger conversion with 450-550hp to reach its sweet spot. With the right mods they are untouchable on track.

there a good car but this just seems like a bit of a dog of a stripped out one as ffor going up in value it would cost too much to put it back to stock , a standard good condition m3 would be a much better giveaway , big up and old car all you want , you say mods its not had much to look at it, power wise from what you have said maybe 360 if the engine is good overall with the intake, the reactions are fake , no dyno numbers , ground control coilovers might sound good but there a poor quality choice for such a car, crazy hhow many people are drawn in by the bull , this car was a nice car long ago , but somebody spoilt it
