Ok, so the Congalala a cross between a therizinosaur, a hippo, a gorilla, a scorpion, a baboon, and a skunk. The pink fur could have just evolved as a natural coloration to dissuade predators from attacking him. Therizinosaurs were dinosaurs who had long, scythe-like claws that they used for pulling down branches to eat leaves from them and for defense, just like the Congalala here. They also likely had big pot-bellies. They had 3-toed feet. The Congalala boasts sharp, scythe-like claws and a big pot-belly just like the Therizinosaurs once had as well as their 3-toed feet. Hippos are known for being easily irritable and territorial and having huge mouths with sharp, tusk like teeth in them for fighting off rivals. The Congalala boasts a similar temperament and has the same huge mouth with tusk-like teeth. Gorillas walk on all fours and possess huge, muscular forearms for defending themselves from predators. The Congalala has the same huge, muscular forearms. Scorpions have long prehensile tails with stingers on the ends to inject potent venom into their prey. The Congalala has the same prehensile ability in its long, baboon-like tail. It even has a hardened talon on the end. Baboons have patches of colored skin on their noses and buttocks. So does the Congalala when it is angered. Skunks are creatures worth avoiding if angered. They spray potent chemicals that emit a foul odor that is hard to get rid of and dissuades predation. The Congalala boasts a similar ability, only it blasts its targets with explosive, foul-smelling farts. If this beast were in the real world, no predator on earth would be able to take it down. It would decimate a pack of wolves, a pride of lions, or even tigers if it were attacked by any of them. It’s huge forelimbs with those massive claws would insta-kill anything that tried to challenge him head on. If that wasn’t enough, it’s explosive toxic gas would dissuade any attack from the rear. It could use its tail to jab at its opponents from a distance. I’m over-analyzing it aren’t I? Sorry Monster Hunter Fans. I’m just looking at it from a biologist’s point-of-view.
Definitely not a scorpion tail, its much closer to a monkeys tail. I've also never really heard about the therizinosaurus pot belly, I'd need some kind of article saying so cause I've never seen it depicted that way. The claws seem closer to a sloth, anyway.

That’s why I confused it with a scorpion tail. I thought it had a hardened talon on the end. In regards to therizinosaurs, I was unsure of what they actually looked like. Sorry about that. I know sloths have long claws, but the ones on Congalala seem more in line with therizinosaurs due to their length. But, to each his own.
