This is a revamped video from an EIGHT-year-old video on this channel! (I can't believe we've been going this long!). We thought it would be fun to re-narrate and re-edit this old classic! Here is the original if you've been with us for years and want some severe nostalgia - ua-cam.com/video/Gl0XrQmkPm0/v-deo.html
I want to watch the lonely whale somehow but how? 🐋
I just watched that original video within the past few months. You guys are are at an elite level!! Keep goin 🆙
I was confused, as I was like... I've totally seen this video before. But hey! Reload and get those views
@@triffus what do think about the giant shark is it a big shark or not? 🦈
@@jamiegirard5688 me too what do you think of the beach carcasses, and the shark that was shallowed by a bigger shark is it real or not? 🦈
Seeing this title and thumbnail again was so nostalgic 😂
This use to be his top video on his channel back then 😂
The “loneliest whale” story shows that everybody hertz 😢
Well done! 😂❤
👍

🥁
Very good 😊
Talk about a throwback.
More like, hey orcas, through back your heads while you swallow that great white shark's liver, right? 🤣🤣I've come to learn that ALL females of EVERY species be _crazzzzzy!_ Sharks, orcas, elephants, whales, lions, heck _some_ of them are even... humans?! *Shhh don't say I warned ya, okay? 🤣🤣🤣
I discovered an unknown creature in my bed one druken morning. It was terrifying.
😂😂😂
That's what happens when you sleep next to your mom
Was there just a face in the pillow but no one there?🤣🤣🤣
It was a killer whale.
@@ICantBreve my mums dead,il have to sleep next to yours
My Thalassophobia: “We’re gonna have some watching this one”
Love thar eerie music tho.
You're so scared you can't even type fun 😂
You have an ass phobia?
The Sea absolutely terrifies me.
Me too, but it is fascinating.
Me too, when i think about swimming ìn huge depths i get some sort of vertigo, plus not knowiñg what cld be swimming under me ,or cld grab me , terrifies me.
Especially because most of it is pitch black.
An oldie but definitely a goody!! 😮
2 is definitely without question a Baird's beaked whale. Whale flesh turns into fibers as it decomposes and makes it look like fur.
Its quite simple. I see a notification for a new Top5s video, I drop everything, I watch 🍿
🙋 YESSSS 💖
Ditto! Even if it is a very old reupload of theirs.
He’s just repeating his videos now. He’s already talked about this lol
It’s quite simple; Iread unoriginal comments and realize how ridiculous some are.
Maybe just the device was bitten off and not the whole shark eaten.
Exactly! or the part (the fin, I'm thinking) the device was attached to. Just posted the same thing. Occam's razor. Poor Alpha would've died from either (if she lost an entire fin), but being swallowed whole is obviously much less plausible.
Orcas
The ocean will always need a kraken. And a kraken will always answer the call
The Loneliest Whale... Whatever that sound comes from, all I know is it woke my cat up, her head started going up and down with frequency display on the screen and she then ran over to the TV, sat upright infront of it and watched very attentively! As soon as the sound stopped, she walked off and went to lay back down **queue X-Files score** 🧐
Love your videos, thank you for your work and soothing voice. Much love xo
I know I say this every sea monster video, but if people honestly think a “really big shark” or “living fossil” are the most unbelievable things in the oceans, they’re so not gonna be happy about some of the absolute nightmares down there science does accept for some reason.
Lol such a good point though 😂
🪼
Damn man I've been watching you since I was 12 in 2012 and you haven't changed a bit. That's amazing. Keep up your outstanding work keeping our minds active and wondering!
Loving your more frequent uploads
Agreed. Uploading the same content again is great.
I spent years on a Ocean Research Vessel starting in the early 80s and we were the first ship to try and use an ROV when they were first made and in their experimental stage and I was on the monitor when the very first one was put in the water in the Strait of Juan de Fuca
That’s so cool! My dad is a retired ichthyologist and worked for NOAA. He and his colleague published a book on the strait of Juan de fuca (and surrounding areas). I love to pick his brain lol.
@@gabesgirl7902
Now that is really kool I would like to read the book could I have the name please. My ship was called the Endeavor based out of Esquimalt
Oooh this takes me back.
Showing LOVE for my favorite channel thank you for another great video once again and thank you everyone at top5s for the hard work and research you put into each and every video! Thank You and have a blessed day everyone
Love Top5s videos! This was another great one! Love watching strange things being found!
*LOVE THIS CHANNEL!! THIS VIDEO IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY.*
Great Topic!!!
This has to be my second favorite subject, space being my first.
I feel so sad for the lonely whale of the ocean 🐋
It's not like the 9 foot shark had to be eaten whole, whatever attacked it doesn't have to even close to twice her size.
Killer whales eat great white sharks and will tear them apart for fun, and that's a new discovery that they didn't know about at the time. That's what I think happened. Orca got her and just pooped out the tracker or dropped it
@@bubbletea9111 Killer whale didn't even have to finish the meal! just the snack of the fin (or wherever they tagged her). Sadly, no scenario ended well for Alpha 😪
Orcas only eat shark livers. Never a whole shark.
Really good, Thank you 🦈
Interesting video Top5’s.
Wòoow! Good ooooold topics! You had this last time like 5 yesra ago!
I love this channel! It relaxes me so much
Big fan! The world needs new sea mysteries.
Is this a reupload?
It might be
Ya
I’m 100% sure it is
I remember this video from 2015-2016... Channel must be dead basically
Mid week top 5s videos to get us through the week, on behalf of everyone thank you ❤
Top tier channel
This channel WAS the best on UA-cam.
We all love a good unexplained mystery, but the boring reality, of course, is that it's almost always the most obvious and mundane explanation rather than 'a mysterious unknown giant sea monster.'
Fact will always be greater than fiction.
For the first mystery, I thought there was a follow up to that whole incident? I remember seeing a video that said there had been evidence that the shark "Alpha" had been grabbed and dragged down by a giant squid.
If not, what they didn't know years ago when they tagged the shark that we now know was that killer whales eat great white sharks. So that's what my mind immediately jumps to. That a killer whale ate the shark and just pooped out the tracker
@@bubbletea9111 they only eat the livers
@@misterfister7262 they only eat the livers but they also use the corpses to play with and teach younger orcas as well as each other. So my mind still goes to orca ate the tracker and pooped it out or ripped it out some other way maybe with some flesh as well, another animal grabbed the meat and dragged it down, then let go of the tracker and ate just the flesh
you deserve soo many more views. 🥺 pls don't ever stop making videos.
I thought I lost my mind for a second when I saw this in my recent uploads feed. Pretty sure this is the video that brought me to this channel.
Thank you
I am willing to Bet you, that there is a. 0% chance that a 15 or 20 foot Shark had Bitten a piece of the 9 foot shark off that had the Tracker on it!!.. 🤭
Killer whales do it to sharks, but I have no idea if other sharks do it, too. So I agree with you. :)
I like it. I like it a lot.
thank you
The last one is crystal clear a Greenland Shark.
Thought that a good possibility, too
Can we add a rule to ocean mysteries? It's never a megalodon!
The creature washed up in New Zealand looks like a dinosaur to me
And this is exactly why I go as deep as my bathtub! 😱
I think the shark got eaten by a underwater ufo
USO bro
@@brownseed777 no
OG Video
the last one is a greenland shark which has been known for probably decades, the trap it's next to is just a lot smaller than people assume
Yeah and this comment was a common one on the original video so idk why they didn't say that in the video. Or better yet not include it since it is not a mystery anymore. It's been identified and the comments on the original video were a lot of people saying that so they definitely know
This vid got me here all those years ago
Yay!
Top 5s one of the best channels around
used to be a lot better when it was more honest.
@@snowballeffect7812 how do you mean?
@@shanebowles4854 he'll leave out things like in the 2nd one, that's basically unanimously been identified as a dolphin. it's not really mysterious at all, but he'll save that info for the end to build up the mystery and then suggest that it's only about as likely as all the other suggestions provided first. It's been getting worse and worse because eventually he caught up and covered most of the truly unsolved mysteries of the world. His earlier stuff has the real juicy good stuff that people really didn't know the full story behind at the time.
Considering so much of the ocean is unexplored who knows for definite what may be out there
No Megalodon, that's for sure. That shark was a coastal wnimal living off of high callory whale and seal bodies.
So we are re-uploading now not that I complain. Good for the newcomers
Wow.
So many creatures at depths we cannot reach
Good Memories, Good Times
heard dicaprio and eye rolled
We’re gonna need a bigger boat 🚤
Incredible video as always!
I’m happy here on land thanks 😬
I was about to say, havent you done this before? But revamped it is.
The whale sounds beautiful 🥲🥲🥲
Iirc, loneliest whale is no longer so lonely. They found a second one recently.
If that loneliest whale was the hybrid, it could easily be some kind of deformity causing it to have a much higher "voice"?
So the 1st one has a more reasonable explanation like that the tracker was swallowed by a smaller fish and that makes perfect sense, but somehow they jump to the conclusion that "the 9 foot shark must've been EATEN by something much bigger!!" There's really no mystery here.
Fact! Science knows more about space than our own ocean
If people think it is a megalodon then you have the scientist; the Government or the military to thank for this beast.
I loved the last one about the unknown shark, which actually looks a *lot* like the Greenland shark. If l you look at the gill slits, you can see a long, slender parasite that looks somewhat like a spermatozoa. The parasite in question is the Acanthamoebia. In such icy, deep water, it is primarily found attached to corneas of the Greenland shark. However, the issue can be resolved if we learn dimensions of the steel trap that is dwarfed by the shark above if.
its hard for me to believe that the tracker just "fell off" the shark. granted anything can happen, but I don't think they just tied the tracker on with a simple knot
Hell yeh first !!! Absolutely love this channel so damn awesome!!!
What ate a 9ft Shark?.... A bigger shark.
The lonely whale is lonely no more! A second one has been recorded, so they finally found a friend to talk to.
I believe that Alpha was something’s appetizer!! Given that we have only explored 20% of our oceans, what lies beneath could be anything that our imagination could conjecture!! There are depths of the oceans that have never been discovered nor been explored. I think it’s safe to assume we do not the slightest clue as to what is swimming amongst the deepest of the oceans and we may never know.
The last video scared the shit out of me i love the water but now there's a giant shark out there whis probably gonna eat me 😂😂😂
The first one (number 5) needn't imply the shark was swallowed WHOLE, just the part (a fin?) with the tag attached to it.
"... the ocean, the most intriguing place on Earth, and alongside space, the least explored." Umm, where actually is space?
Anyone remember when the origin now version of this video was first released?
👍🏻🇬🇧👀...
That thumbnail is clearly a Greenland shark not a megalodon xD
Number 3 has been proven to be a Barid's beaked whale and number 1 is most likely a sleeper shark.
The last one has been thoroughly debunked. It's a sleeper shark, the 50ft estimate was from a clickbait website that assumed the cage was a diving cage. It isn't it is a very small bait box. Also it wasn't filmed in the Marianas trench it was filmed in Suruga Bay Japan and the original footage, identifying the location, can be easily found online
It's always a basking shark.
The trench Shark is likely a six gill shark of some type as the eyes give away and gills. could be a greenland shark which is massive. but i'm not sure.
It is a six gill sleeper shark. and the footage wasn't from the Mariana Trench but rather a deep sea bay in Japan Japan. The name of the bay is fleeting my memory right now, sorry
Most "monsters of the deep" are Green land sharks..."Håkkärring"....
They could be monstrous big....
1-I think the tag fell off Alpha and the tag was eaten by another fish.
There are bound to be undiscovered spacious in the ocean. We only know a small amount of the seas 😊
Yes with every dive into the midnight zone we find new species, though not really anything at the size of the "monsters" that supposedly lurk down there.
All the animals shown and talked about in this video are well known and documented.
The two carcasses are two species of whales, the lonely whale is a Blue Whale and the "Megalodon" really is just a 6 gill sleeper shark.
At the bottom of the ocean there are many mysteries that people do not know
Am I imagining things, or was it quite recently revealed that there was another whale with this unusual call? It claimed that it was distinctively a second individual
The loneliest whale became a Vtuber named Bao
I thought you'd include The Bloop.
I saw this video yesterday labeled 2years ago and now it’s 6 minutes ago what is going on??? Glitch in the matrix???
Reality is a flat circle, alright alright alright
@@gregbors8364 you just prompted me. I gotta reread King in Yellow and then watch True Detective #1 again.
Last was in japan maybe 20years ,3000 feet below
Number 5 is a Greenland shark, it can grow up to 340 years old
Close, that is a six gill sleeper shark. They are very similar looking species.
An Orca could've easily eaten a shark
The sea is another world of its own . If only we knew what was in the deep .
The whale call was found out it was an iceberg scraping against the seas floor and it was NOT a whale
A young dolphin and whale is in fact a calf not a cub which refers to the young of big cats and bears
To the loneliest whale. You’ll find a partner one day. Remember, there’s plenty more fish in the sea.
