In the sketch, Washington is shown having a series of increasingly surreal and hilarious dreams, envisioning how the country he founded would evolve over time. The dreams take a comedic spin, imagining everything from America's wild political shifts to an unlikely future where the country’s ideals and history are played out in exaggerated, over-the-top scenarios
As a proper Jeff, I support this message
I agree!! These are too funny 😁 2 years is a long wait! 😅
I’m so glad you were able to see this! 😻
I'm here for part 2. The first part was hilarious 😂 Great reaction and Peace out ☮️ ✌️ 🙏
Jason Sudekis as Science Teacher on SNL is INCREDIBLE!!
This was hilarious....nice reaction guys....(says stupid G-off 😜)
You guys pick the best songs, skits and everything. I hope movie reactions are next, that would be fantastic. You guys are a highlight of UA-cam, thank you!!!
I think you are referring to Imperial measurements. We do weird stuff over here though. There are some really funny videos about how hard it is to learn English. SNL are brilliant, when they get it right. They do with this series.
Love your channel! Yall do an awesome job
It was 2023 when Nate was the host the previous time. When he hosts again it would be a small miracle if we don't get more Washington and his dreaming...
Well, At least I now know that there are 5,280 feet in a mile 🙄
🤣these are good!
I just realized that they were wondering about British troops on the other side of the Delaware River at the very beginning of the skit....but historically, that was a surprise sneak attack on the Hessian soldiers, not the British 😂
Jerry and Gerry.
Two, To and Too.
Everyone knows that 1 Gunther’s Chain is 66 feet and that’s 1/10 of a furlong. So easy.
Our system is called "imperial"
Every week they have a different guest host. Part 1 was one of the skits performed the first time comedian Nate Bargatze (George Washington) hosted. Because it was successful the first time, they wrote another one when he hosted again this year. I think they've probably already mentioned the best examples of how the U.S. changed the way British do things, so I don't know if there would be enough material for another skit. Maybe they invited him back so soon because the writers had a lot of ideas they didn't use the first time. He repeated as host pretty quickly for a relatively unknown so maybe it was because they had already thought of Part 2. Many people only host once.
Metric vs IMPERIAL measurements in the USA
Bobby Finn has a series of short comedic videos on teaching the English language. They are hilarious! You feel for our kids who are trying to learn to read or anyone trying to learn the English language. You should check out one of his videos. ✌️❤️
Olli you meant the imperial system of measurement. (the "British way" lol)
Since you mentioned jokes about the English language I am going to recommend the comedian Ismo. He talks about the words a*s and sh*t. Both are hilarious.
My name is Geff.
UA-cam asks if I want to translate your name to English.
That's not a real name. I refuse to believe it. ha
Please check out the SNL Beavis and Butthead skit from last season…absolutely hilarious!
Americans actually speak older English than the UK
Isn't Geoff French lol 😊
