- Moody Tongue Brewing Company is the first two Michelin starred brewery in the world. We were seated in an intimate 28-seat room for the "Dining Room" experience and enjoyed a 12-course tasting menu with an optional beer pairing made up of exclusive brews created in-house by Brewmaster Jared Rouben.
The cost was $285 per guest for the tasting menu, while the beer pairing was $75 per person.
Would you try this?

I like beer more than wine so this menu is sick
Check out geranium! I love your chill approach to eating at fine dining restaurants. So nice to get a down to earth perspective. Keep being you!
Do Smyth. I’ll be looking out for ya 👀
@catthecritic let’s go 👀👀
loved this video! also loved your pitchfork review of caroline's polachek album... you inspire me to be a better journalist!
Catttttttttttt
I will be going here for my birthday in a couple months. Thanks for the preview! Have you tried Alinea or Oriole yet?
Yes I tried Alinea back in 2014! It was my first fine dining experience so the bar's been set high ever since. The gastronomy element of the experience is unmatched so far.
I've heard amazing things about Oriole but still haven't been. I'm so curious!
@@catthecritic Another one that I'm curious about is EL Ideas in Douglas Park.
@@GregKulevich same here! I feel like they don’t get as much love in the public these days but still super innovative and unique concept.
@@catthecritic Sorry to keep spamming your comment section, but I just remembered another one, Topolobambo. For such a famous head chef, I never hear anyone talk about that restaurant.
@@GregKulevich I feel like there's also more buzzy celebrity chefs like Stephanie Izard and Joe Flam that are popular nowadays but Rick Bayless is timeless!
I know it's not a Michelin star (it's a bib gourmand), but you should try The Duck Inn. Chef Kevin Hickey does a decent tasing menu.
I've heard it's great! Still have yet to go though, have you been?
@@catthecritic Yes, many times. I love it. Although I'm a bit biased (I live in Bridgeport). My favorite things that I've tried there are the roast duck, the bbq duck wings, the gourmet duck fat hot dog, and the seared tuna and the noodle (from the rotating tasting menu).
@@GregKulevich I loveeee duck! Why haven’t I been yet? Thanks for watching!
When pronouncing the names of food, it helps to remember that the last letter of French words is silent.
