I would wager that even top pros would agree that the best thing about blading is just cruising around. Tricks are awesome, fun and rewarding but there are days where I just want to cruise around. I say this because newcomers should never feel like they need to be doing some kind of trick. Just get comfortable skating, get your reaction time up, etc. With that will come an increase in courage and then you'll feel more comfortable trying out jumps and grinds. Thanks for these uploads and all the work that goes into them!
I'm glad to hear that you found back into aggressive skating! 💪🤗 And I'm happy that my tutorial could help you. Overcoming fear is totally normal at higher ages. However just keep rolling and you will abe able to rock the parks soon again. 👌
Simplest explanation is the lack of footwear in aggressive inline caused pros to get far less lucrative sponsorships (shoe companies tend to write the biggest checks since they do the most business advertising. Everyone wears shoes, far fewer people buy skateboards, and even less buy aggressive skates, especially 10 or 15 years ago) Pros basically got priced out of being able to compete which caused less competition and eventually the end of inline at X-games, which was basically the death of competitive inline.
I'm out of skating for 20 whole years... zwanzig jahre... mein Gott... I missed it so much, but I just realised I'm missing is... anyway, thank you for this little tutorial, I will practice myself back into the game. :) One day maybe I'll be able to encourage my son to skate with me... he's a bit afraid of new things. :D
This is great to hear! I hope you'll find your way back rocking a skate park and I'm sure you will be able to encourage your son to skate with you, even he's afraid a little. ;) I wish you luck! Stay healthy and keep on rolling.
I hope you were able to skate. Skating can definitely be dangerous when you're starting out but if you have access to a level bike path you'll be cruising around in no time. Definitely wear a helmet and wrist guards. Wrist guards are an absolute must in my opinion, I never skate without them.
@@birchmahogany2718 I kept at! I love it. It's so crazy to look back on my progress and even this comment I left. I go up and down step hills . Cruise my city. Also go down ramps at the skate park, jump off places, skate down the stairs. All of this I was afraid of and now I'm doing even sometimes without safety gear because I forget to bring it sometimes. Just the fact that I am confident skating without safety gear wows me. These videos help a lot but i realized I wont get better unless i keep practicing. I love rollerblading !
you’re definitely gonna fall, but its okay! just wear the proper gear and DONT land on your wrists! the easiest ways to prevent falling are to bend your knees and straighten your back! good luck!!

Yes, for aggressive inline skating you need some special skates with soulplates and h-blocks (grooves) for grinding: www.skamidan.com/produkt-kategorie/skate-shop-en/inline-skating-en/inline-skates-en/aggressive-inline-skates-en/?lang=en
Hi Dariusz, thank you very much! 🙂 In this video I use the "Valo Blood Ligh" skates, but Valo do not exist anymore. Today I use aggressive skates of USD "Universal Skate Design". It's a brand of the company POWERSLIDE. I, myself currently skate with the "Montre Livingston Carbon Free" aggressive skate.
When I reach the top edge of the mini ramp, I hit the pipe with a clang and usually fall. And everything somehow flies by on video. Either I hit and fall, or if I got a good speed, I just fly up and grab the rail with my hands
Don't give up, I'm sure you will handle it soon. Maybe my video about how to stall a pipe will help you: ua-cam.com/video/0xLQ4anPbic/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared

Hey Daniel ! You're on the right track, even if you really have to work your "V" and "R". American commercials : search "70 GTA San Andreas Radio Commercials" on youtube British commercials : youtu_._be_/_hG0ZXD89Bq0?t=4m2s (get rid of the "_", UA-cam is notorious for often getting rid of links, even their own), and also this timing : hG0ZXD89Bq0?t=11m52s The pauses between sentences, need more time. When you explain a thing while showing us, once you're done explaining, keep showing us an action of what you just explained, but without any speech. Doing so allow people to better associate what you just explained. Try to watch Bill Stoppard's channel "PintoPonyProduction", especially one of his tutorials, he has the right flow.
Awesome again! Thank you so much for that feedback! I'll keep working on it. Actions without any speed are very helpful, but here I'm in trouble with time. Would I do too many pauses between my sentences some of my tutorials would just be too long (a too long play time). But anyway that's a very good hint, I'll try to find a way to make it better. In my opinion my tutorials are very detailed and I know many people like that. The most detailed tutorials that's what my channel is. However the first idea I have is not making pauses after most of my sentences, for this I'll try to show more actions without any speech as a summary of several sentences or single motion sequences. I know it's hard to follow my expressions and all of my actions in the same time, so I'm sure I'll strike a balance between of single actions without any speech and the full play time of a video. Thank you so much!!!
Well if you want, one day we should skype, discord or something so I will try to train you on these V and R. Your Rs are not bad, but you seem to focus a lot on these, while most of them do not deserve great attention and should be very light and short, and even sometimes almost muted. Your Vs are... hum... still a lot german (surprise surprise) XD As I said to you previously, your tutorials are very thorough, and that is really enjoyable. In my opinion, it's better to have fewer information that are fully understood, than a bunch hard to get (I'm exaggerating for you to get the picture). I'm not suggesting you to be less thorough, no no no... but rather splitting your videos in two parts, hence giving you twice the time. I bet your german audio track is live with your video (I've not checked, cause I don't speak german), so once a thing is explained, then you just show the video part again, maybe slow-motion, without live audio, and you can insert short comments, like :"here, watch my knees !", that kind of things, just to highlight a key aspect of the move. As you are making tutorials, you are teaching us new things, new concepts, so most of us need time for it to make sense, for it to sink in, and then understand other new concepts relying on the previous new ones. I've seen however that you have a nice number of followers on your german channel, congrats !
I definitely recommend the USD Aeon 60 skates! They are all just great! But lastly I also recommend to ask your prefered dealer, he will know which is the best skate for your personal goals!
