- Hope you are all doing well?? In this episode, we are going to take the CDH88 Power Pipe for a spin on Typhon. I purchased this pipe from Amazon for 86 US bones. I’m sorry everyone, but I lost all the install videos. It's a long story but I will be taking measures to prevent that from happening in the future. 100 percent agreed 👍 🤝, and I wouldn't do it again. I've learned from my other brother and sister from UA-cam that it was a horrible idea 💡 running with just a coster break. I've also learned that disk brakes are the way to go. Thanks for this comment 👍 hope some people read it and learn that safe is key. The last thing I will say is always wear a helmet ⛑️ 🪖.

Its an excellent top end pipe! Now you hit the limit of the small carb. 19-21mm carb will get you to 45 but its really not worth throwing away the good bottom end for little gain lol....
I've been looking at some carbs for fun 😅😅😅. The bike is getting there for sure. Not 100 percent want route I want to go. Thanks so much!
One that I really liked was the KTM50 clone carb (clone of Dellorto PHBG19). It's a great quality carb for the price, and jets are widely available. All I needed to do with mine is swap the mainjet, since these ship with a ridiculously huge main (#130 iirc. Main jet is the same size/type as the stock motorized bicycle carb - 5mm threaded). The pilot and enrichment circuit jets worked fine for me. I didn't notice a big difference in low end compared to the stock carb, but it was definitely easier to start, and the top end power was noticeably better.
Shiid, just get a longer intake and boom, more low end than he started with🎉

You know something was just off on that fist pipe they sent... wierd color that I haven't seen it online. There was also ask at the end like the pipe was ran...it was wierd. But that replacement pipe was a good time 🎉🎉🎉. Thanks brother man!
Wasn't Typhon the Greek god of madness, disaster and mayhem 😂. You brave naming it that lol. That avanger 85 pretty much just killed every saw and minarelli build cold. Identically copied Athena porting on top end installed on a motorized bicycle bottom end turn key ready. 1/3 the price of the rest. Was amazing to ride one other day. It loves the nibbi 19mm carb btw pure monster with that pipe combo that copies jog pipe

At the end of the day, I totally can see that downfall on this pipe Kevin at Kevin's shop did a great job modding his out, but I'm not there yet 😂😂. I think this will end up being a test pipe in the future. Thanks for watching 👀 🙂 🙏
Do u by chance know what size studs the inteak is i striped one out and i need to tap it for a bigger size and put a bolt in it vut idk what size i need
Not 100% but I do believe the stock bolt size is m6-1.0 or 1.25 I can't remember. Most hardware stores have a bolt and nut size display thing near where they sell them

Yd100 is a great start off motor in my opinion.
I've never ran a yd100, but most people feel they are built proof. Good strong engines. Just remember they are a 1 piece cylinder, so for a beginner, hard to bet the Wild Cat 80s price or the firestorm pk80 built quality.
