How does Syberia 3 look to you? Have you played other Syberia games?
I have Syberia 1 and 2, both on PS2 and in a PS3 collection bundle. I have yet to actually play them, but from what I have seen I love the atmosphere, the steampunk-ish feel, and the old-school point-n-click puzzles. I want to play them soon, and 3 also looks likes it's gonna be an amazing follow-up.

I played Syberia 1 and 2. I'm exited to play Syberia 3! :D
I love the game! It represents everything Syberia is about - very strong story, stunning visuals, characters, variety of gameplay, including a lot of brand new and epic moments to the series and to the genre! Adventure games as a genre are almost extinct, and Syberia 3 brings back what real adventure is all about, just like before!
The game is officially dubbed on French and yes there are problems with the sync in other languages, and more precisely in English, but still that doesn't bother me, after spending two hours in the game, you get used to the voice of Olga and you don't really mind the outsync, that was actually fixed in the first patch of the game! The camera angles were also fixed in the patch, and a lot of new fixes are coming in the 2nd patch!
Syberia 3 is truely the best adventure game currently out now, brining the slowly extinct adventure genre back on track! It is the only game in years I've spent 40+ hours, replaying, hunting all achievements, and keep replaying! A true joy to experience!
Some of this comments ,geez, I don't know what to say.This series is nothing like tomb raider ,it's a point-and-click adventure game ,the scenario of the first two games were amazing back in its time ,now it may look outdated compare to many triple A games today ,(though even triple A game we still have Mass Effects A, those facial expressions weren't better than the ones in this game~).Im actually happy that this series still gets continued and there are people who still put effort in making old school genre today ,variety is very much welcomed in any industry of entertainment .

Syberia 1 and 2 are indeed great, and I will argue that they are still holding up to today. But this trailer is bad. The 2 first games had excelent voice acting and though you could only see facial animations in CGI cutscenes, they were good. One other thing is that, though syberia was not grounded to reality, it didn't feel over the top, though I understand this might be subjective.
Nostalgia glasses from the older folks, or younger folks who haven't played the first two games. Compare the graphics and animations in syberia 2 with doom 3 which came out the same year and you will see that it wasn't top of the line then, either. It's the gameplay, story and world building that made it a cult classic, not the graphics or voice acting. Kate Walker is being voiced by the same voice actress that did 1 and 2, and they're using at least a couple more of the same voices used in 1 and 2.

One would argue that voice acting is kinda important for such a game.
Yeah games like this usually rely heavily on narrative voice-overs like the first 2 games, the longest journey/dreamfall and grim fandango :)

Omg people who are complaining about the voice acting, please try to play the game in french no ? The voice acting is way better but yes i forgot you have to read subtitle. Please put your laziness on the side and just enjoy a masterpiece :)
Oh i almost forgot, how in 2017 people are saying that the graphics are awful like its the only thing important in a game "oh this looks so fucking awful, i'm not buying it." Hopefully there is still true syberia players out there.

I believe it's a combination of voice acting and facial expressions, that put the game straight into the "uncanny valley", they should've gone to a more stylized version or make it like the previous ones where you couldn't see the characters' faces.
This game actually looks decent. However, the voice acting is some of the worst I've seen in a game.
Worst? Oh you have not lived back in the past have you? Even just listen to the voices in the legend of kay I think it was and you'll hear what bad voice acting is yet its still a cult classic and loved by many yet noone talks about its voices for some reason.

Probably just kids who haven't played the original series and don't understand that the game's enjoyment goes well beyond voice and graphics. I was replaying these games the other day and even with the aspect ratio not doing well on a modern wide screen and talking mouths looking like wobbling black blobs it did not affect my enjoyment one bit.

Well, it's not about the looks, it's mostly for the story and art style. Also, the soundtrack! I played the first two when I was 13 and announcement of 3rd actually got me excited. So, yeah maybe it is most awaited game for me in 2017.

These are great games. Been waiting on this awhile. Those that complain about graphics and voice acting...you should've seen the stuff we had to play when I was a kid. At least the score is awesome.

Legit thought this was a joke until I saw the platforms it's on.
The people slating the voice acting and graphics haven't played the first two and don't get it. The have stays true to the first two with similar graphics. i just hope the controls are sorted in this one.

Hello there. I was just trying to convince myself to buy PS4, First product that just caught my eyes was collectors edition. She reminded me off Lara Croft. So I checked. Now i am really confused. This game does not look very attractive to me, but when i looked through comments i am actually curious right now. So i would really love to know your opinion.

The first syberia was one of the best games Ive ever played. Amazing storyline and I was so excited to read that they are going to make sequel... But this looks like crap... I hope it is better than the trailer cause they will ruin the sweet memories i had from this series

And there's that question i've been asking about this series since i first found out about it back on the xbox360. To be honest it's most likely a staple for the series at this point.
I don't see that they have bad voice acting, and it's probably good (I want to try a new adventure). But it has no libsynking in English. Probably because it's not made in English in first place.

What a big shame. These games used to represent the very best visually in adventure games. This looks like a new inexperienced team trying to pull off way more than they can handle. Using the name to bring in the nostalgic customers is just going to end up pissing everyone off that was expecting a slick dventure
