Great video, working on transporter t5 2.5 BNZ with similar issues, lots of vapour out of dip stick and oil filler, rocker cover is off and my cam and lobe wear is a bit worse then yours but now decided to replace injector seals as van covered 230,000 miles!! your English is fine, I doubt I could order a beer in Czech! Cheers
I have problem with My lupo 1.2 tdi. Ther is a lot of white/grey smoke even on idle ( hot and cold engine) more rpm = more smoke. Ther is 1,5 mg/ stroke fuel correction but BIPs (block 023) are positive (+40/70) so what dou think? Can be the same problem?
Is this common for 1.2 engines? I like the engine you have - it is very clean. Interesting to see in 2022 a 3l engine so clean. Do you recomend injctors rebuild if the orings are no changed after 200k km?
I got a2 1.2 and the consumption is a little high. It has 200k km and i do not think injectors orings were ever changed. I will do this operation too this summer after seeing your video
Good question! Hmmmm.... it is hard to choose. For PD injector plunger is needed low viscosity to lube it, for cam is better higher HTHS index. VW norm is one thing and real conditions is second one. Until now, i udes 507, but from now, i will use 5W-50 or something like it to ensure high HTHS and low "cold" viscosity to lube injector plunger asap. Maybe API C[highest letter] could ensure good oil performance. What is Your opinion?
The problem of u 1 cylinder is that the fuel is mixes with the oil at the same time, cause for a leak of the inyector , so at the end the crackshaft dont have a good lubrication at that part. All for the leak of fuel. I guess! See you.

good vid and a thumbs up from me 👍and your English is good 👍
Thank You, hope it will be helpful.
How would you exchange the injector seats DIY for METAL ones?

This is absolutely rare for 1.2 TDI's. These are very strong and reliable engines.

@@titusm9837 Will be good. If You have higher consumption, check turbicharger vane mechanism, thermostat, tire pressure (recomnend 2.8bar), etc...
@@marekminar4724 is that the only things that can increase the fuel consumption?
Daca e necuratat poatw consuma ulei motorul?
Did you reuse the old bolts on the injector clamp & crank shaft
I dont recommend. But when the price is limitation, i carefully use old ones.
What engine oil you use for your pd ...vw
507.00 or 505.01 ; .

I have seen many pd engines with more than 500.000 kilometres with 5w 30 oil but i believe 5w 40 is better generally for cam lobes protection .
I have a problem with my 1.9 tdi kombi it doesn't idle doesn't reff after rebuilding the half block
👍👍👍🤗
Super tanke you

but why at 105 000 kilometer
Fuel in oil. Badly remapped.
