So nostalgia,. I cried men.
A few months ago my two-year-old daughter was hit by a car. Miraculously, she is alive without any after-effects, but the road back home has been a very hard struggle. The first day we returned home she asked me to look this movie, adding that she was Nemo and I was dad. I cried like a child and since then this song has become the ost of my life. Our family's life has totally changed... love your children as if there were no tomorrow because every day you spend with them is a gift from heaven.

Brings back childhood memories when my mom picked me up from school on saturday, then we bought finding nemo dvd and simply became one of my favorite pixar movie. Now I have 2 children of my own. Thanks for the beautiful cover.

Losing my dad last Feb . Then i brought life into the world 4 months after. This music brings me to tears. Happy tears I know he's watching he's watching and my daughter .

This piece always gave me the chills, Thomas Newman was such a genious for composing such masterpiece, and this cover is marvelous! You can sense an indescriptible mix of melancholy and immersive peace. EXCELLENT JOB, MATE!

I'm sorry, but if you're going to take liberties with Thomas Newman's work please know what you're doing. The section around 2:30... Just terrible. The overused held suspension with the four chord cycling, and then even worse suspension resolving on the 7 over the V chord, which completely breaks character for the piece, heavy handed 5 chord usage. and then a significant power in the piece is the satisfaction when you finally get the vi instead of the I in the lulling I-IV. In this section you take that relief and you trivialize it. it takes all the magic away. I was hoping to relax with this. Didn't expect the "billboards pop single" adaptation of Thomas Newman's intricate composition.
Sorry you didn't like it :/ my type of playing won't be the cup of tea of all I know that because I'm more of a Pop/Indie Player, like The 1975, I LOVE THEIR SONGS because they provoque emotion and soundscapes that make you fade away into a dream of ambience, but some people who study music find their popularity very overrated and annoying because for them it's just 4 chord progressions over and over in most of their popular songs.
Honestly my purpose with this channel was mainly make music so people could relax, or even meditate while walking on the forest, making it easy and soothing, not having too much changes, so the mind could easily rest, focusing mainly on the dynamics and emotion of the rendition.
I never really studied music, I just took guitar classes, then learned the piano by ear and watching tutorials, I did have a music teacher but when they talked about music theory BOY my mind went flying away haha it was like learning mathematics in school (and I hated it) that might be why I don't focus as much in the things you said, even tho I know some day I will have to study it again. But weirdly I always found annoying other pieces of music with waaay too much stuff going on and 0 emotion, because for me ANY music that lacks emotion, dynamics and love, is just sound, eventually fading away, not having as much impact on someone's life.
But still, I am happy with my content and compositions, I don't think I would have 600,000 views if they weren't any good, is just not for everyone, and that's completely okay.
But your point is completely valid, I do appreciate a constructive criticism, It really does make me want to improve myself. So I hope you find other channel that is worthy of your ears, if you haven't already. Have a blessed day.
