In today’s episode, we’re speaking with trombonist, vocalist, and composer Seth Weaver. We discussed growing up in Tennessee and the Nashville music scene, how he ended up as both a vocalist and trombonist, his experience at North Texas State University, what inspired him to start writing for large ensembles, how he made a living during and after college, the joys and difficulties of managing a big band, how to write and arrange literally anywhere, his strategy for funding his album, his advice for younger musicians, and much more.
