- Roy Clark & Joe Pass Play Hank Williams is an album by the jazz guitarist Joe Pass and the country guitarist Roy Clark that was released in 1994. The producer Ralph Jungheim came up with the idea of putting Clark and Pass in the studio together. He first approached Clark, who readily agreed, calling Pass "my idol". (Wikipedia)

@@BerniesBootlegs1 no, thank *you*, really :)
Joe Pass and Roy Clark were geniuses.
Had this on CD loaned it out never seen again til now...
quick shoutout to John Pisano, faithful musical companion of so many Joe Pass records, and sublime "comper".
Great. I’ve spent my 61 year lifetime finding fulfillment in lots of different kinds of music. I’m really embarrassed to say this is the first time I’ve seen this.
thats what im here for
wowzas, two of the greatest guitarists ever,, from totally different genres ( Roy Clark has to be said to be one of the greatest guitar players ever in his own right) together! how delightful, i'm thumbs up lucky number 13
Every guitar play should listen to this. Thank you. Spread the word.
Absolutely delightful !. How well they fit together. An all round classic meeting. Marvellous x.
Woohoo; a new upload! Always happy to see when we get something new from Bernie’s Bootlegs. Hope you’re doing well Kenny!
Thanks for this. I came to Joe Pass later in life but had seen and listened Roy since I was a Teen. His work with Gatemouth Brown was great as well. Never knew about this recording. Thank You. P.S. Jerry Reed and Chet Atkins is also worth a listen though most likely you have heard it.Cheers from Canada
Joe Pass playing country music?a new one on me,sounds excellent as I would suspect.great idea!
This kicks ass :)
Incredibly, this album is streaming on T***l. Crazy album!
Who would think roy Clark an joe pass, i love it.
If "The Last Picture Show" was set in the upper west side.
Love the upload! Where do you find your bootlegs?
This isnt bootleg
Joe Pass no VASCO!!!
What do you think? Roy on the left and Joe on the right?
Great stuff!
"Tasty" doesn't do it justice!
im not sure but id actually guess joe on the left, more his style with more comping and chords than just leads. however now that i guessed i guaranty im wrong lol
From the videos, Roy was on the right, and Joe on the left, for "Hey, Good Lookin'", at least.
Good lord, I had no idea this existed. What a world, where 2 great masters collaborate in 1994 and a guitar nut like me is ignorant of it until 2022. I just goes to show you how little this country cares or celebrates its great artistic contributions to the world. Because everyone knows what Lady Gaga sounds like ruining jazz standards with Tony Bennett.
doing my best
