Simple fix from an upholster. Cardboard used for door panels would have made that back per looking solid. You take it and basically make up your own headliner board. That would have been the solution.
I have 5 complete g6 roofs in mint condition. Getting my classic s class mercedes and my w124 mercedes ready to put roofs in. I got a Cooper roof to put in my w123 mercedes. My brother is a truck driver for insurance salvage so every one that insurance totals i get the roof. These roofs are so easy to put in. Cut it out. Grind the roof. and Panel bond it. Don't get much easier and quick profit.
