Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. And I thought it would be cool for hypnotized Daphne to go psychedelic during George Harrison's backward guitar solo. Once again, thank you for watching.
I was worried that your "Ticket to Ride" video you posted a few days ago was all we'd get this week, and that Saturday Morning Cartoons would be pre-empted. Sorry I thought you'd ever disappoint us, Francis! This song by the Fab Four works especially well with Daphne in "Bedlam in the Big Top." As a sidebar, now that I think about it, was this the first time in fiction where a "creepy clown" was the villain? I do not count The Joker from "Batman" since he wasn't an actual 'clown' per se, but rather a nightclub comic. Here, I'm thinking in the "Pennywise" sense. 8th Like.
Thank you Mark. Glad you enjoyed it. Come to think about, I'm have to wonder if the Ghost Clown might have the inspiration for the clown in Stephen King's "It." Once again, thank you for watching.
Well, the whole idea that "clowns are creepy" is an old one. But as far as I know, this episode of "Scooby Doo" was the first time this was ever actually shown in fiction, or at least in a kid's cartoon. (An even bigger trope is the idea that clowns are, ". . . laughing on the outside, but crying on the inside," and underneath their festive makeup and carefree antics is a deep depression.) I think that Stephen King might have drawn from this basic idea for "It," but I doubt that this particular cartoon had any influence. Now, if Pennywise had used a gold coin to mesmerize his victims . . . . I'll check out that other video you suggested. Thanks in advance.
Frightfully Fantastic and Fearfully Fun🤭👍
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
Daphne joins Princess Dawn in The Beatles' sleepy time time. OUTTASIGHT!!! 😃😃😃 Thanks, Francis.
Thank you, Gerry. Glad you enjoyed it.
Another fabulous set of clips and another great Beatles song! The color changes during the psychedelic-sounding guitar work were a nice touch!

As a sidebar, I also set Daphne and Scooby Doo to "Help!" Enjoy!
