Bright boys who seem to have enough humility to let God love them. Thanks. GB

I love to hear Pastor Alistair Begg as my online Shepherd. Right now am reading a beautiful book by Pastor Sinclair B Ferguson "The Dawn of Redeeming Grace". Daily Devotions for Advent. I like Pastor Mohler also but first time I've heard of him.
Such an excellent video from 3 GODLY Pastors.

I believe it is wise to catch and discern the flow of the flock. Pulling in the Words of the Prophets, Our Savior, and the Father to encourage and soothe the mindset of whole group.

How wonderful to listen to three people sharing their encouragement instead of debating and trying to win the intellectual debate.

Thank God for these GENTLE men, their KIND voices, and deep insight into things which seem unnecessary at first glance, yet matter so very much if their message is to impact a hungry flock! Thank you for your post!❤🙏

The latter discussion was the bell tower of these pastors in this time of sharing. From Al Mohler who brought this very important subject up to Sinclair Ferguson who watered that fertile ground to Alistair Begg who gathered their seeds all together. "We have been called out of this society". This last section needs to be listened to over and over again in our churches and Sinclair Ferguson nailed it "We are living now in a pathetically flabby season of young men in the ministry and we need to make a new call for self - denying ordinances." This must be the standard - The Call to Holiness (1 Thess. 4:1-12) " Spurgeon believed that only the best of men should enter the ministry - men that possessed “True and genuine piety.” A simple test for Spurgeon was to examine the character of the one claiming the call. With respect to personal holiness he dogmatically asserted, “whatever ‘call’ a man may pretend to have, if he has not been called to holiness, he certainly has not been called to the ministry.” For as Spurgeon knew, “Men do not read the Bible, but they read us,- do let us give them a good version of the Scripture in our lives.”

Wonderful and Biblical advice on how to find encouragement when struggling and losing zeal from 1Timothy 4, thank you.
