This nation has suffered greater in a shorter period of time than any nation on Earth, BUT- should the veil of antiquity be pulled away We Shall Find, that they envy us- and not we them....
I fear not. I see no cause for fear. For in the end we shall be the victors, and even though the flame of FREEDOM should sometimes go out, its ember SHALL NEVER DIE.
~Tom Paine, The Crisis, Dec 1776.
Awesome
Captain Kirk is the man 😎
To this day, I will never understand why the writers went with the Preamble to the Constitution.
I think having Kirk quote the Declaration or the Gettysburg Address would have worked better for the point they’re trying to make.
God bless the Constitution.
Somebody send Kirk to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave ASAP. I think an illiterate is fucking up the letter and spirit of the constitution!
Teach Biden this
my friend told me he rehearsed this when he was a teen but that was before he became another..nevermind
Just because the founding fathers meant those worlds to apply to all people doesn't mean that the leaders will honor that. Just look at us today.
Me i wish i could hear him
The one named Kirk . . .
Cold War 2 will be the Chins vs the double Chins
Sulu and the redshirt have to spend a week on the planet before they can return to the Enterprise. Hope the Yangs left a few good hotels.
And WHO CARES if SHATNER is CANADIAN? He understood it and why go snowflake over it?
It is a PROTECTION POLICY insuring that YOU have rights.
Disregard it, and you become nothing.
So Tracey was kinda shooting up the place a bit, trying to isolate a longevity serum and what not. Yeah, it's naughty, but not a massive interference on the whole, just a little contamination. Kirk rolls up and instigates a massive political and ideological upheaval. Riiiiiiight!!
Doctrine Man brought me here.
What's ironic is that Shatner is a Canadian.
