Laid back, no cars, sandy streets - awesome way to escape! When you travel for a long time, these places are always so good to find. Sounds like they are doing a great job sustaining the beauty of the island too. Luuma looks like an awesome place to eat!
I love the quality of your footage! What camera do you use? Nice, fast editing. Also loving the drone shots of the beach. Wow, this sure looks like paradise and that food all looks yummy! Mexico is on my bucket-list. It just looks like heaven!
This island looks absolutely stunning! Never heard of it before and its great to know that it is not as touristy or overpriced as Cancun.. All the food looks so fresh and delicious too! Great video and editing as always! c/t
When planning a little getaway from CDMX we were looking at Holbox or Bacalar. Being on a tight schedule we could not make it to Holbox but it was highly recommended by a Mexican friend. Next time I'll have to make it here. Looks beautiful and relaxing. Love the murals too. Like Bacalar, it's nice to have a place not plague by tourism. Food looks great.
Such a gorgeous video and definitely makes me want to plan a trip to Holbox myself! I love the idea that you can just get away from it all and enjoy relaxing without any stress!
the island looks pretty cool, love how it feels laidback and chill where you can just walk around or ride a golf cart haha. even the hotel looks tranquil and peaceful, the island does look like a great place for some r&r. would definitely want to go there and do nothing haha. the street arts are amazing wow, it looks so real that's so cool! the shrimp and oaxaca cheese empanadas look delicious yuuuum, lots of yummy food choices tbh. i could just sit there at the bach and watch the sunset. thanks for sharing all this info on the island! well-detailed and informative c/t
I love all of the info you guys give with your videos. The street art is dope in that village, such a colorful place. You two are living the dream! -c/t
Wow this looks like a stunning corner of the world!!! Thank you so much for capturing it so well, going to definitely be adding this spot to my dream list!!
Um did someone say whale sharks???? I would love to swim with the whale sharks. Great pace in the video made it feel like you were with you guys. Excellent drone shots showing the city. Beautiful area in Mexico seems like a hidden gem.
Yeah, the whale sharks are supposed to be amazing to swim with! A lot of tours for them...we just weren’t there at the right time. Holbox was our favorite place in the Yucatán!
Watching your video is like being on holiday there itself! Interestingly when you were walking in some of the streets, I felt myself thinking that it could also have been somewhere in the Philippines.
Really enjoyed how you're leading us through the video (and Holbox)! We've been to Yucatan in the beginning of the year, but didn't make it Holbox. We kind of fled from Yucatan's crowds further South 😅. Had a great time there as well. If we ever make it back there, we'll check out Holbox for sure though!
Thank you so much for watching! Yeah, we really didn’t vibe well with the Yucatán either, the crowds are insane...but Holbox was pretty nice. We really prefer the Pacific side much better!
I love the ambiance of the island. Reminds me of my home country, Philippines. Your video made me homesick. Lol. But I enjoyed watching the vid. Feels like I am in there too. Are there no restrictions on flying drones there?
I love the idea that Holbox has no straws or plastic bags. This island looks amazing I think I am going to go visit Holbox in October when we go to the Yucatan. Do you have any other must-sees/dos while we are there? Anything you wish you had done but didn't?
No its not. In fact it is much cheaper than Cancun but the only thing is in most places of the island they only accept cash they don't have ATM on Holbox
We were there at the end of April to early May. The sargassa wasn’t bad when we were there, but it was awful Playa del Carmen and Tulum about the same time.
@5:50 he said, "...the beaches had serigosa problems..." I'm sure I spelled it wrong because I tried to google that word and got nothing. What is "saragosa?"
What a beautiful mini-movie you made. Did was so inspiring.
Laid back, no cars, sandy streets - awesome way to escape! When you travel for a long time, these places are always so good to find. Sounds like they are doing a great job sustaining the beauty of the island too. Luuma looks like an awesome place to eat!
What a dream and luxury holiday in Mexico.

Very well edited video. Very nice crisp shots. Keep it up!
I love the street art, is like a walking museum. 👍🏻
I keep hearing amazing things about Holbox and that's it's the new Sayulita. The little dog at 5:16 was so cute!
Thanks for watching! Yeah, Holbox is pretty chill...probably how Tulum was 5 or so years ago. The dog is our little puppy that travels with us!
I really want to go here.
So tranquil, looks like a true vacation nice and relaxing! Such a beautiful place!
Love the breathtaking place! Gorgeous location, & mouth watering food! Perfect 👌 Super love your editing! Mega compliment from us!

Wow love that you almost have to relax because of lack of wifi and the beaches look amazing, as do the street art
This place looks so relaxing!
Wow it really looks like paradise! The sign in the thumbnail is so cute! I love it when places have signs like that!
Yeah...I love it when there "city signs" like that...but this one was super cute! Thanks for watching!
Wow, the street art looks amazing! Looks like you found a great hidden travel gem. Superb music selection, as always.

This is so well done. Seriously made me feel like I was right there. And love the vibe and crowd that Holbox seems to attract!!

I love holbox 😎✌🏻
Great video!! We did exactly the same trip in May! Love Mexico 😍
Mexico is one of our favorites! Would go back in a heartbeat! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the comment! The only drone flying restrictions are around the airport!

Go Travel On The Cheap punta coco is stunning
Good to know, thank you
This looks INCREDIBLE. Was it expensive on the island?
No its not. In fact it is much cheaper than Cancun but the only thing is in most places of the island they only accept cash they don't have ATM on Holbox
Hey, what month was that, I see you published in August and worried about Sargazo
Lol…it’s actually saragassum 😂. Anyways, it’s the brown seaweed that collects on the beach in some places.
@The Near & Away Ohhh ok well it looks like we have that same problem in Galveston, TX.
