I couldn’t even count the number of times I’ve looked up answers to questions with no answers on UA-cam or anywhere online. There are thousands of videos one could make that don’t currently exist. Once I get into mold making I’ll definitely be trying this out.
I think you’re the only video out there that actually is doing this process, really cool to see. What kinda psi did you run or did you think it any?
Looks like a breeze. I’m intrigued. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for sharing
@Johnathon Wheeler - your video is the only one I have been able to find that says this method is possible so I only have your testimony to go by. I am desperate to adopt this method for the work I want to make (fine art student). I've noticed in previous comments that you say that the latex doesn't dry inside the gun, I'm not sure how that is possible when air is passing through it?? Surely, even with daily use the latex would dry and layer up? I really want to give this a go but can you or anyone suggest a way that latex could be cleaned after use so I don't ruin the air sprayer gun? I appreciate anyone's help out there....🙏
Can you recommend an air sprayer. I have been looking for ever for a way to do this without a brush
Where can I buy gallons of liquid latex?
Nice video. So how does one clean the spray gun after use? What is the clean up chemical?
Can you make examples of molds?
How do you clean the nozzle out please
How did this sprayed on mold turn out? I’m very interested in taking this route as my models have a lot of detail and odd nooks that would really benefit from this!
What size nozzle, and whar pressure did you use please?
Would like to see how you cleaned the sprayer after using it with the latex if that is possible
Not had to clean it yet, i keep using it every day, stays wet
@@victoria653 ahhh well that makes sense for your type of work
So did you manage to clean it ? Somehow ?
So have you actually used any of the molds you made with the sprayer yet? How do they hold up in comparison to the painted on method? Does it rip. I would love updates as you actually use them
Good question, ill let you know. I am assuming it should be the same as brush on.
How mini coats of latex should you put on the statue if you are using a liquid sprayer?
I would say around 20, or more if you like a thicker rubber!
Hey I’m in the us is there another brand of latex that I can try you recommend that can possibly be used with the spray gun? Thanks!
Look up holdens latex
Just curious since i’m good at sculpturing , is it a good buisness? Does it sell well in the farmers markets? I will really appreciate the asnwer
