i observed sharmin's performance in heeramandi closely after seeing the endless trolling that she faced for her performance. i noticed that she is ok with her dialogue delivery (though her voice is so unpleasant to say the least). she can smile, laugh and cry but her expression is the same for all emotions. you just can't feel her emotions by looking at her expressions.
Good observation. Sounds like the opposite to early Katrina Kaif who had good face expressions but I only realised this when her voice was dubbed by a Hindi-speaking artist. When one - either dialogue delivery or face expressions - is poor, it messes up the entire performance. Both are essential.

Instead of being inspired by someone else's acting, she should put in the same effort in trying to actually be authentic in portraying the character. Meena kumari was very honest and authentic, so she excelled in those tragedy drama roles. I am not saying any actress should go through what meena kumari went in her personal life but somehow meena kumari's real life gave her that experience. Whatever she did to portray her character it came from her inner self. Sharmin's "nothingness" is just that nothing, she should stop embarrassing herself.

Abhi unhone uski baaton pe negative reaction dia hota, to sub unko roast kar rahe hotey. Plus unki series recently release huvi hai, agar cast khud uski buraai karega , to pehle director will be angry and won’t cast them again and the series rating and viewership will decrease and they will not get enough profits or credit. Maybe they call her out in private, they don’t have to do that publicly
ngl, The way she showed how she used to act as a kid, it felt like she must have been an insufferable child... Who makes everyone's life a living hell but nobody does anything about it.
Have you guys consider that perhaps she's extremely neurodivergent? I've noticed a lot of adhd traits in her, interrupting, hijacking conversations, building herself up to make up for her inadequacies, being loud and a bit all over the place, the heavily botoxed face at such a young age also hints at body dysmorphia, jumping topics, constantly trying to relate to a point by coming it to herself (also an adhd trait) and trying really hard to fit in and being super unaware of how she is impacting others. A much more groomed and intellectual version of this behaviour is Samdish who is super loud and constantly interrupting in interviews. I am not defending both of them or thr work but pointing out that this would is operating on super Capitalistic values where everyone has either got it together all the time and if they are eccentric they are super talented like Ranveer Singh. If you notice, even Slb shows a lot of Autistic traits, a spectrum much more acceptable than Adhd. Taare Zameen pe talks abt dyslexia which could be an outcome of having Adhd. This was never really talked about before, try to see the humanity in these people, thr is a human behind the behaviour. You can still dislike what they are doing but at least try to understand the cause. Thr are so many neurodivergent ppl who live in shame and depression. Instead of making fun of them and pushing them away, try to see thr humanity and help them. And plz don't come after me for this. Happy loving ❤

Bad acting kaafi saare log karte hai. Lekin she's insufferable because she's the epitome of arrogance and rudeness. She can't bear to give credit to any of her senior co-actors and is constantly being condescending. She married a rich man and is the niece of a famous director but she hasn't built anything herself and hasn't made a place for herself amidst the league of amazing talent she's surrounded by...so she lashes out like this. she will never learn. she thinks she knows it all and she thinks she doesn't need to change. i have read her recent interview on the internet where she said that she's proud of her performance in heeramandi which shows that she doesn't want to acknowledge that there was something missing in her performance in heeramandi.
But i think she just doesn't have it in her to act. There are lot of actresses with botox & treatments on their face. Still they can still express well with face.
so true. but her biggest minus point is her irritating voice. she sounds so manly that her voice can put people off right after she opens her mouth.
@JHussain90 literally yaar. This girl should retire from acting already. Sometimes it's good to accept your shortcomings and make career shift. Warna phir kissi deserving actress ka role khaa jayegi.

i observed sharmin's performance in heeramandi closely after seeing the endless trolling that she faced for her performance. i noticed that she is ok with her dialogue delivery (though her voice is so unpleasant to say the least). she can smile, laugh and cry but her expression is the same for all emotions. you just can't feel her emotions by looking at her expressions.
i feel d same
Good observation.

Yaar sharmin is one crazy narcissist, but why are saying that about other cast members ke wo bhi u sey support kar rahe hain, that is called being socially sensible and media trained.
Yup she is narcissist
Imagine someone is bearing her as a daughter/sister/wife and more painful is bearing her as a mother 😢😢😢

Ananya Pandey isn't a great actress and yet, she's humble, chirpy, and amicable. So she isn't trolled for her personality and nature.

Don’t tell me why should I like her or not. I am a viewer and I spend my money on Netflix membership, you didn’t. Why should I watch any actor’s performance in positive or negative lenses, being a viewer I should just watch performances as it is, because I invested my hard earned money so I have definitely right to get return as a good free flow performances. I am really astonished by every one performances but unfortunately not Sharmin’s . She did every inches acting over and she seemed she was really struggling while doing acting. As far malaal movie concerned I even didn’t dare to watch trailer. 😂
I am neither a troller not a fan of her. I just watched movie to enjoy my weekend and if maximum people trolling her she should think again about acting as her career.
