      OTHER ACTORS PLAY HOWEVER THEY LIKE BUT - here we are talking about Sharmin. She did Good job, period. This shows on the screen. HER ACTING DO NOT COMPARE WITH OTHER ACTORS. She came up with her own body language and her own carrying out.
      Innocent of young girl who is just turning to teen age [how they are naive] that is what Sharmin played and yet mature enough to take blame and sacrifice herself and her life for country. Those days’ people were that patriotic. When you are at shock mode when Manisha gives hard punishments and Sharmin shows those shocked emotions and when she wanted to take the pain with a smile that also shows on screen. If you watch it again with positive lenses to see Sharmin Segal Mehta then you will notice that her character was of a innocent girl who never stepped out of that world so I think she maintain that innocent on her facial expressions and on her dances because they are showing her that she never wanted to be part of that world so she never liked wearing jewelry etc. she never learned dance so first time when she was forced into the mess her innocents shows on the screen. I THINK SHE DID GOOD JOB. Taha also did good job. In fact she did extra ordinary job - all seniors in Heeramandi did typical same sort of acting while she stands out with very content acting. Her persona was of a very typically drawn from being at ease in one's situation, body and mind in movie. She was making someone else feel happy and at peace with things in her own mind. I liked that she was able to carry out that on her shoulder and it clearly shows on the screen.
      In the Malaal movie: - I LOVED her scene at the ocean front with Shiva, her acting was superb. She is so expressive at that time and also when she and Shiva are at her friend house and next day she is telling Shiva that they cannot get married that perfect execution of the scene by Sharmin Segal Mehta. She is a fine art example. She is marvelous and excellent even in Heeramandi. Why stupid people are trolling her.

      @@deedt8279 I was going to say the same. It was like she was in her own bubble and she stayed true to her character from beginning to end. The fact that she is playing a young character, naive and also has to love poetry it's not easy but she did a very good job. And it was a breath of fresh air if you ask me because a lot of people compare her to Adithi Rao in Vivah and how Sharmin did not show any expressions. I feel like back in the day your acting had to be so exaggerated but now it's more realistic and pure. I loved the whole cast and Tajdar and Alam were the cutest couple ❤

  • @allanaley
    @allanaley 3 місяці тому +49

    Dear Sharmin, please know that your behaviour has caused this reaction. It is high time for you to self-reflect and understand how people's reaction can sometimes be a mirror. And you forgot, we dont care about what you said for Aditi, what you said towards Sanjeeda is unacceptable and the main reason why you need to be self-reflective, and work towards being a better human.
    People are not creating a notion. You were rude. So accept this and see a therapist.
    Come stronger as a better person. ❤

    Even if she is a very nice person doesn't mean she's a good actress. She needs to change profession, she's taken advantage of the fact that her mama is a filmaker. Manisha, Sangeeda, Aditi and Richa were very strong actors which made Sharmin very weak. Now is S2 they killed of Aditis character Bibbojaan and we have to carry on watching Sharmin as alamzeb. 😒

    Hello,
    It‘s also only a Perception that I‘m having watching this interview. I dont know Heeramandi and I didnt knew about all the stuff happened in the past. So I did now my research. I must say that it‘s become clear to me that she is refusing any kind of critique. In her Aura it‘s arrogance. „Better than others“ attitude and deflection. That is indeed sad watching. And even sadder she has no refelctions of herself.

    Little bit loud??? Yeah we all saw that!
    Sharmin literally made herself a target for social media and not the other way around. She gave all the masalas herself for social media to vomit on. Nothing is out of context! Everyone saw the whole interviews and its there for everyone to watch-now your PR is doing this damage control which is useless. All you need to do Sharmin is mind your tongue and language! Not social media but you need to be responsible Sharmin. And sorry but your acting sucked.

    No introspection at all. Just waffles on and on about people on Instagram not having any names, about random people allegedly coming up to her to console her, the repetitive sentences about "Taken out of context".....her P.R team obviously doesn´t know when to stop. She needs to lay low, let it die out and frankly, change career! The more she speaks, the more she keeps digging her own hole. People just hated the way she ruined the role, now they will hate her personality too. Just waffling on and on, not making any sense, but only coming across as stubbornly unwilling to introspect. She can dismiss people and tell herself that she´s got folks who know her all she likes, but that cannot save her from her OWN downfall by refusing to reflect. She´s basically her own worst enemy, no matter how much she tries to rationalise this mess that she put herself into. A lot of people fail, but the winners are always those who decide to reflect on the feedback they get and use it to improve.
    The absolute AUDACITY at even mentioning Meena Kumari! The delusion is real. Same with her uncle, who has copied parts of Pakeezah, Mughal-e-Aazam, his own movies, and then some Pakistani content. He´s proven that he´s just able to present previously made things into a "new" packaging, because he focuses on lavish sets and artsy frames. Not only have so many people hated seeing a shifaarshi-bharti in a pivotal role, but also lost respect for a director they thought was original. And everyone around them seem embarassingly sycopanthic, by claiming that he does not miss a hat of a background actor, when it is clear that Urdu was buthchered throughout and even the novels of Umaira Ahmad are seen in the library scenes! 🤦‍♀How could he miss such clear things, if he is as amazing as the actresses claim? And frankly, the way this interviewer is behaving is also embarrassing to see. Kitna behlaao ge iss nikaami aurat ko? Saaf zaahir hai shifaarish se aai hai aur bahot badtameez aur akkrou hai. Sanjeeda did great, for keeping her cool and letting this disaster talk on, revealing that she couldn´t understand English idioms. Kabhi kabhi doosron ko boolne dena chahiye, taake un ki jaahiliyyat khud hi zaahir ho jaae.

    Sharmin, if I was you I would look closely at my co- stars like Meezaan, Meezan’s mum and your mum in Malaal, they acted in memorable roles. look at the nuances of their character, how they played it, how they lived it and how they were remembered. Similarly look at the two young actresses in laapata ladies….learn their subtle acting and expressions. Make this whole journey positive so that you come out the other end having benefitted from the criticism. tripti dimri, in the song sequence with ranbir in animal…when she does not want him to smoke…slight tilt of head, barely any left right motion of the head, yet everyone who watched her knew what she was implying.
    In Malaal, when Meezaan wanted you to eat home cooked food…that could have been a scene which had volatility, embarrassment, anger, yet shades of feeling loved with the way he offered you food. Sadly you just sat and so the audience had no idea how you were feeling. If you watched Meezaan, his expressions while he observed you dipping your chappati in the food, was amazing… he played his role to perfection in that film,…
