Xiangling is probably the best F2P Pyro dps in the game so far. If any of you invest in any free unit I recommend her. Bennet/Bennit is the definition of jack of all trades one of those trades is to break the players & game's common sense. 🤣

(Note: I do not have much team comp expertise, nor do I have many 5*) I feel like eula and raiden would work well together because they can both deal consistent electro+cryo damage to create continuous superconduct reactions. Then you use eula's burst afterwards and deal bigGER physical damage because the enemies have lower physical res. Correct me if I'm wrong
I was thinking of using my terrible alt as an excuse to rely solely on Xiangling, Bennett, Kaeya, Rosaria, usually on one side together, and Beidou, Fischl, Xinqiu and Sucrose foming an amazing EC swirl team on the other end. (Throw a Sayu in there for some novelty) These teams are top-tier but have major weaknesses, curious how I'd fare. Those initial 8 are imo overal the best 4*'s to stand on their own, they offer great general value and even form 2 efficient teams alone. Of course there's other 4*'s like Sara, Gorou, Diona and even Lisa etc. that will be your best pick in cases, but I can recommend these 8 to literally anyone that doesn't dislike them. Feel like I'd need a couple more to enable more teams, though... Using a random Mona I get to form a Rosaria/Kaeya freeze with a Xiangling vaporize on the other side etc. would make things a lot more flexible, though even then there's ways to get countered by the Abyss. I think I'll wait to see if very accessible characters could be added to these 8 to form very strong teams in the future, the options should slowly open up, would love to try something a f2p could pretty much guarantee over time, all 4*'s cause we all need to save primo at different points.

Raiden is really good for Yae and coming in a few days. Her Banner also has Bennett who is really really good! Other than that I'd maybe recommend Kazuha. We don't know when his rerun is but he would be a good addition for you too!
All of these are good points except the Barbra one yes she’s good for healing but with bedue in the right artifacts she becomes a DPS and if you put maidens beloved fullset with hp she becomes a God healer

Good picks. Any character who can do damage or reactions when they're not on the field is excellent. I agree with all your picks. Honorable Mention: Chongyun. After his elemental skill, normal attacks done in his area of effect are infused with cryo. It's a reaction battery. Think of Fischl, Xiangling and Chongyun all doing their skills at the same time: overload, melt and superconduct reactions all go off at the same time. Those 3 (Xiangling, Fischl and Chongyun) got me through most of the early and mid game. One last mention: Amber. Early game one of the best attacks is to just light the grass on fire with Amber and then swirl all the enemies with Anemo Traveller, you can then follow up with Kaeya for a melt or Lisa for an overload. Plus until you have another archer, Amber is the only one who can do those balloon challenges. Plus Amber is the best choice for lighting torches (especially in areas like Dragon Spine and especially in puzzles or when they're far away). In case you need one more reason: she helps you glide further. I mention this not because she's the best, but because she is at the bottom of every tier list and I think people confuse that with being useless. Amber is extremely useful and even at AR 56 I found times when I would prefer to use her.
🌸😹It is quite hard to exactly utter for myself, which free characters are the best, but who I personally find to be my top go to four star are: - Ningguang - Noelle - Bennett - Fischl - Xinqiu - Sucrose 😹🌸
I have Barbara lvl 40 and she's good with kaeya and Diluc using her elemental skill with kaeyas burst and Dilucs burst can do a lot of freeze melt and vaporize

I would disagree about barbara. She is absulotely good with ayaka and xiao because if his Skill and passive. His skill has 100% up time if you unlock her second passive. His first passive reduce stamina consumption which is good for xiao and ayaka hyper. His skill heal helps xiao maintain hp. Also help ayaka freeze enemy by just dashing into the enemy with the skill wet state. I dont think ayaka and xiao needs a support better than barbara for xiao and ayaka are pretty self centered carry.

Bennett+Xianglin are top tier characters and viable till end game so u will never regret building them. Diona and Ficshl are good as well and will help you till end game
It depends on who you have but one of the best is Reverse melt with Kaeya, Rosaria, Xiangling, and Bennett. A freeze team with a hydro chracter like Xingqiu or Yelan is also really good :)
I think that's not a good idea since a lot of the weapon banners are both a giant trap and also rarely have a good mix of 4 star and 5 star weapons. The best weapon banners have good 4 stars (e.g. Favonious) and 5 stars but those are really rare. The weapon banners are usually 1 good 5 star, 1 terrible 5 star, and a mixed bag of 4 stars.

Oh and you didn't mention the TTDS damage transfer with Sucrose. Otherwise Sac Frags. And for Barbara, she can be used for hydro application in freeze teams like Ayaka's and it's not entirely copium for those without any of the other hydro characters for the slot. I've not used her for this, though I might be forced to if I can't release XQ from the other team.
I find Barbara very useful for freezing enemies with kaeya because the elemental skill seems to inflict enemies with hydro as long as it's up
She's become a lot more useful with the introduction of dendro as well.
Noelle is -one of the- best -free characters-

I see Kayea used in alot of boss fights like Xianling. These 2 I see are the best supper free units. I also love fiscal as she is my only electro.

Noelle is my main. And she's insainly amaizing. Pulling Noelle is the best thing I've done on Genshin.
