That kid was a champ. Good choice on your teammate great video, bro.
325 likes and no comments? Lemme fix that
He was definitely a champ i wouldn't touch half this stuff, especially the duck egg jesus christ. I think i'm open minded with food until i see some things but i'm sure plenty of people around the world enjoy all these foods.
Give him a raise
@@MindOfCrim yep it's a delicacy in the Philippines and they use salt and vinegar for more taste
Thomas hasn’t even heard of half the things that Max is making him eat 😂🤣

Everyone is a foodie until Balut is on the menu.
A bunch of sissies. I seeked out balut because I that it looked good and it actually tastes good. It's no different than eating a regular grown chicken carcass, it's clean protein that's never been exposed to the world outside the shell
As Filipino they didn't eat it right you're supposed to eat it on a sidewalk opening the top putting on salt and drinking the juice
I’m Filipino and I don’t even like Balut
It's visually unappealing to most, which is understandable, but taste is better than a regular egg. Some salt or suka pinakurat elevates the flavor.
@Candidatescaler slurping it. I've had it before. The texture and taste just not my thing. My best friend since we were kids is Filipino and he gags whenever he sees someone eating it LOL.
max you need to mainline that kid hes gold. Especially putting you on the spot.
"That bread is over 10 times more expensive"
"Do you think that bread is 10 times better?"
We should all strive to be like Thomas.
Duck egg: Master Skywalker, they are too powerful, what are we going to do?
Max's honest reaction:
Balut filipino street food😊
@@JoshuaJonROcana I don't see any soup

@@Snakue Yeah I know, that's why he doesn't like it because the best part of that Duck egg is the soup
@@Hanz701tzy true i love the soup and the yolk.
The egg thing almost got me sick
I put some salt, and I'm probably weird but I love it💀💀💀💀
That egg was special… and I feel so bad for the ducks😢

7:29 PERCEBES!!! (goose barnacles) the best ones are from Galicia in the North of Spain 🇪🇦😋, we eat them every Christmas here in Spain.
7:59 🤦🏻♂️ How to eat: just boil the percebe, and grab by the nail, put all in your mouth and bite down, no mesh the salty water is tasty, then turn around and bite off the rocky end or just suck the meat from inside, no need to cut anything off.
Balut is a fertilized developing egg embryo that is boiled or steamed and eaten from the shell. It is commonly sold as street food most notably in the Philippines, Cambodia and Vietnam
Yea I figured those countries eat this stuff
@@themerchantchef Balut is also a middle eastern food, you dum san d ra t

LOVE that slab jerky!!! GREAT idea.
Ordering some right now!
For those wondering, Lobsters do get as blue as the one in the thumbnail. They are so rare that it should be a crime to eat them.
Yep. I'm glad he didn't eat one. When they are found they really should be given a good life in a tank that collects money to support the lobster fisheries. They are just so so rare.
I've never been able to find out if you have two blues mate do they produce a blue.
Though I believe that any lobster can be blue if given special diet
They are only rare in nature
@@user-ej4eq5im4r not exactly wrong, the color does get a tiny bit affected by the diet in other lobsters like the ghost lobster but from what I understand the blue color is due to a mutation in the carapace melanin that produces a lot of extra protein. Only 2 lobsters with the gene can produce another, and their chance is roughly one in 2 million.(there are other variants, with all being much more rare than the blue)
@@kostasrakevicius2441 I see now, thanks!
Why should it be illegal lol. It's just a dumb color. That'd be like saying albino people are better than anyone else
Thomas ate these like a boss! Very impressed.
Im loving the content with your intern. super entertaining
Man Max has a great taste taster buddy. Looking forward to see him more in upcoming videos.
Max i believe it's pronounced (Gooey)-duck
Scrolling through comments for this one.
The way he pronounced it makes it sound like a Pokemon lol

yeah, I had to pause the video right then to see if anyone else had said it.
They aren't that rare on some BC beaches. Just live deep down in the sand.
The slab bag have been ordered and its coming my way soon. Yum.
Awesome video. Great deal on the jerky, I placed an order for some. Can't wait to try it!

Here's something I've learned in many years of "adventurous eating"...
If you're going to ever try ballut, start out with QUAIL ballut. The birds inside (and the eggs themselves) are muuuuch smaller and less intimidating. You can pop the whole thing in your mouth instantly without having to see that you bit through an underdeveloped embryo. You can kinda just eat the thing whole, take in the flavors, and not get that freak-out factor. Because if you can get past the idea that you're eating a whole dinosaur, they actually just kinda taste like a hardboiled egg with a bit of meat (and a tiny, barely discernible) flavor of organ meats (similar to veal liver).
It's genuinely not bad. It's just the whole idea of eating a baby bird that makes it rather unappealing...
that trunk of the elaphant looked good
Yea and don’t be dirty minded 😅

1:15 black pasta thats really common, we have it once in a while in my house here in Cantabria (North of Spain) mixed with slightly spicy oil, fried tiny shrimp (camarones), and gulas (fish paste baby eel imitation), its delicious.
ok i can sleep peacefully since there isnt anything racist against the black pasta
such a perfect video all around!
That egg made me pass out
Jamon Iberico is Spanish, not an Italian Prosciutto. Spanish prosciutto (crudo) simply does not exist. Jamon Iberico is not a type of prosciutto, both Jamon Iberico and prosciutto crudo are types of cured ham.
hearing him call Jamon Iberico 'prosciutto' was just a god damn crime.
It triggered me hearing him say it’s expensive prosciutto
proscuitto: italian word for ham
ibérico: Spanish word for iberian and is the name of the peninsula where Spain and Portugal are located
how these words ended up in the same sentence is beyond me, yet again Americans aren't really known for their geography
We don't care about your opinion.
@@erikgutierrezgueco5466 It's not an opinion though. Jamon Iberico not being an Italian Prosciutto is a fact. You might try and learn something new here today if you pay some attention.
Max saying "geo-duk" like it's a fuggin Pokemon... 🤣
Hi Max, loved the video. If you ever come to Spain I'll take you to eat Carabineros, Jamon Iberico and Percebes (the Spanish shrimp, "prosciutto", and barnacles you mentioned) at a couple of top tier places that will blow your mind!
Hey bro hope your doing well, I love your videos man keep it up

Amazing! Thanks for the wagyu love! I wouldn’t have gone near that chicken wing! 🥵
That was an amazing video!! Kudos to the intern, he crushed it! Most people would have tapped out at the fermented shark. He even ate the duck egg, just amazing.

Great video!
I used to be a forensic pathologist when I worked at the stock market.
During the gut slide, I used to try and guess the person's financial income based on what was in their stomach (this would usually only be fun for an accidental death as terminal death stomachs were almost always identical).
Your gut slide would have been completely jarring to me.
However, in hindsight, if they were all actually eaten around the same hour, I'd like to think I would have guessed "food taster".
im here for the intern!!!! way to go bro
The second i heard that coke pop with that whiskey. My stomach is still lodged in my throat like i just fell off a cliff. Thanks Max😂
