Lucky kids...raised like my brothers and I were raised. Your opening scenes where your daughter was rubbing the little calves head brought back wonder tactile memories for me. Just touching the clean, warm little guys head was wonderful! Thanks for the memories.
This song makes tears well up in my eyes! My son-in-law loved this song! He passed away 3 years ago. He suffered from Friedreich Atacia it is a type of muscular dystrophy. He road his quad all the time. He was free to go fast! Free from his wheelchair!

Mike, watch every AM. Love your videos. We have a small family dairy and about 7-8 Herefords. After checking a 1st calf heifer, due anyday, for the fourth time last night we had to assist in birthing a breach baby- would've been bad if we had let them go til morning. Thank you for taking such great care of your animals, and for sharing life on the ranch!

Wow, a working man for sure. You had better sometime soon to slow down or you will be burn out soon. I know you take pride in your ranch and you told Gilbert that you got this. Just one suggestion I would make and that is get at least one or two people to help you.. You are just one person and you can't do everything even though you try. It will catch up with you.

I think it is great that not only are your kids able to be homeschooled but you don't just "teach" indoors.. you use stuff around the ranch to teach also, like with Faith how you taught them about how her color helps her soak up the warmth from the sun. You and your kids being able to spend time together playing with the new baby calf is great. It makes me want to play with the baby also lol. I am an animal lover but I don't think I would have the strength or stamina to work on a farm. Enjoy making memories with your kids, they will remember these little moments for the rest of their lives.
Another good video. Liked the schooling in the gator too. A lot of people don't take the time to explain things like that. Training can take place anywhere, it doesn't have to be in a school building. I think you're going to have some well trained and knowledgeable kids. Keep up the good work.

Snow a few days ago and now short sleeves welcome to Wyoming!
Gorgeous calf! Our bred Angus cow gave us a gorgeous Angus bull calf...March 26'th...Knew she was getting close but were surprised to walk out and find out she had it! On a narrow finger out into one of our ponds...baby was lying right at the water edge...and mom was at the end of the finger...hmmm...new time owners and I decided we needed to try and move the baby, lest it fall into the water and drown...watching your riding with the calf reminded me of that ordeal...Mom took off across the pond...and we picked up baby (like 70 lbs) and put it in our Mule...of course...it pooped...on my rubber boots...all is well but was nervous as first time "cow" people...glad the kids can grow up with the lifestyle...
Mike I think I can speak for all when I say we are throughly enjoying this but fear it is at your expense. I am glad you put a limit on it. Lincoln you’re doing so well. Grace you are very brave. McKenzie that kiss was precious. Mike you are a patient teacher. Thanks for taking us on your family outing. Looks like some I have Been through with kids and animals. Good one McKenzie. That was neat as they named the calf faith you can take it in so many ways and eventually since shes a heifer you can say faith was born in 2020 and you can look back what all you went through and hopefully the kids can remember and pass it down the line. Hope you dodge the storm this weekend there calling for us to get 6 to 8 inches of snow besides the rain were supposed to get 1st.
