  • Arctic Cat Factory R&D PUTS (Pipes Under The Seat) race sled that was built to compete at X-Games, and possibly elsewhere as well. It's currently wearing Kirk Hibbert's #41.
We've pulled it out of storage, freshened it up, and posted this first start up video for your enjoyment. Feast your ears on the 116 octane-running, fire-breathing, Speedwerx 600cc mod engine with an exhaust that gives new meaning to the phrase "hot seat!"

Imagine changing the plugs on that. The wrap around pipe was bad enough haha.

It actually looks easier than a normal style exhaust lol wouldn’t have to remove anything at all

It doesn't make sense to me that they didn't turn the cylinders around 180° and make a straight header pipes... they had plenty of room and they would have gain much more horsepower

Intake still in front, would need new cylinders all together.

@@OverwatchSIXNo the clutches and the chain case would stay the same. Nothing to get alarmed about.

@@mikeh4053 No, absolutely not.... everything else would remain the same...think deeper
Even Massey Ferguson did the same during the Stone Age....minus the tuned pipes..

You obviously don't value your life much with running that thing with the clutch guard off..you have apparently never seen what happens when a clutch explodes. It's like a grenade. But on the other hand it sounds amazing but I'm thinking they never proceeded with this idea due to it probably not landing flat with the weight of the fuel being only on one side.🤔🤔
