what is the difference using a hipot test ang surge test
can hipot test be used for Capacitor leakage test? in place of these vintage instruments I see on the web
Why mov and gdt are removed while performing the test please explain
Im not sure what a gdt is but an mov would be removed because it will cause a short in the circuit when a voltage equal to or above its rated voltage is applied. So you would be testing the mov, not the insulation or spacings of the device
