Joining me in this weeks episode, is Matt Pranka, owner of X-Ray Alpha, LLC. Having spent several years in Special Operations as well as becoming a USPSA Grand Master, Matt has a lot of experience and first hand knowledge in shooting and training. In our discussion we took a deep dive into a lot of the cultural issues within our community that correlate with a lack of, or improper training. Things like fundamentals, appropriate training progressions, standards, and training paradigms are all a part of this weeks conversation. Matt is a beast and I love his input into shooting skills and how to practice, especially in our current environment of over saturated “tactics” being pushed out. Matt, Ben Stoeger and Nick from Velox have been a small but growing force pushing the practical training side of shooting and training, it’s refreshing and it has personally been the turning point in my training and many others. Keep up the good work guys, a really great conversation with an awesome guy and I subscribed a few minutes in.
