Agreed completely. Better Call Saul has been in the running ever since what? Almost ten years ago? Or was it longer? Either way, that alone is testament of how much of a masterpiece the show is. To run that long and be popular with many different groups of people. That's proof of how good the acting and story is.

I went through the nominations all 53, I love bcs but I tried to look at it at a non biased view. Out of 53 nominations, bcs deserved 15 at the very minimum. BCS is unlucky as it fell in the middle of GOT, which I feel didn’t deserve much wins past s6. And then it fell when succession aired. Personally 2017 is pretty bad year where it was s3 of bcs one of its best and it lost to an awful s8 of GOT. Bob O should have won it over sterling K brown. And it should have won best writing for Chicanery. Another big snub is the lack of love for Rhea Seehorn, who wasn’t even nominated until 2022, she’s should have won best actress from S2 onwards. Giving Jenifer Coolage another win over Rhea is just wrong.

The main kicker is that its budget is under 15 million dollars, Rotten Tomatoes has critics and audience rate it 100%, Great movie by Toho.

Fun yet hard question to answer for BCS fans: pitch me the concept of Better Call Saul without mentioning anything from Breaking Bad.
Bcs is a different show ENTIRELY than breaking bad. There are “some” of the same characters but everything about it different. The show is much more about Jimmy Mcgill (especially in the earlier seasons) and his relationship with his brother and job. Then it becomes a lot more cartel heavy later on but it is a completely different show altogether and one that adds to the breaking bad universe.
