we went 1st weekend this year, trying to avoid the Heat of May it was sooo crowded--3-hour wait to be seated at the Peacock Lounge we were there the whole day and saw all of 2 people I knew almost completely new crew and acts
@@StoryBouquet_Travel I didn't because I left my phone at home (plus speaking with disembodied voices at RenFest could be construed as witchcraft-lmao) but yeah, my nephew was complaining that service was spotty but we always plan for this Meet at certain sites at certain times Noon: Peacock Lounge for lunch 4PM: Pub Sing at Brewer's Pub Closing: Front Gate btw-- 1-I am not sure if they still do this, but they used to sell Return Tickets for 1/2 the regular cost, something to check into 2-if you can tolerate the heat, last weekend is a good time to go, as many of the vendors put goods on great discounts to avoid having to haul them to the next venue (great time to touch up one's costumes)
@@stephengibbs8342 Thanks for sharing this. This is really helpful. I’ll pass this info to my friends as well. I love the meeting point and time idea. Next time, will try this 😃 I love the juggling show. That guy is funny 😆
@@StoryBouquet_Travel the meeting point idea is an old one it predates cell phones (since we are being old-timey-lol) it was something we always employed when going to festivals/county fairs/etc "We meet at these places at these times" that way if you get separated during the event, you know where to go to find them (plus if you are a panicked child or parent, you know exactly where to go now!) also, a great survivalist plan if the SHTF event happens, then we assemble at Place X
Really cool video of the festival
🌸
