I really appreciate that this set has no stickers, as I have owned the older version ever since I got it for my birthday back then and the stickers have deteriorated horribly on that one, whether it be them just peeling or losing stickiness. Can't wait to get the new one!
I have bought all 3 of the new ships and so far I have only built the Invisible hand which looks very nice next to be built is the Tantive IV and I'm saving the Falcon till last
Very much agree with your verdict. I just gave away my 75105 Minifig-scale Millennium Falcon to the son of a friend of mine in expectation of this set. The interior details of the play set were nice to have, but this display piece has the perfect size and amount of detail for a worthy LEGO representation of the Falcon. I haven´t cared for the helmets or the Star Wars LEGO action figures so far, but this set is really something special.
Never seen the blue tubes used like that? That's surprising since every Lego Millennium Falcon that has been made larger than this one, except for the rise of Skywalker set, has used those pieces for its engines.
Yeah, this set using the tube is the only big disappointment of this set for me. I loved the fact that the 2020 Millennium Falcon uses a bunch of translucent blue tiles, because I think it looks far superior. Going back to the tube after that massive upgrade is a bummer.
I appreciate the views of the under belly and Lego made a reasonable attempt, minus the center - which I totally get for the stand. Printed pieces are wonderful. I just find the gaps around the cockpit neck to be unsightly. Can be fixed though. Can you make an updated video with the panels removed showing the easter egg interior and how it's made? Thanks.
I had to show the underside since there were no images at all yet. If you message me on instagram I can send you a picture of the other two "easter eggs".
Nice response and keep up the good channel work! Sorry - not an insta user. Will wait for another video and it won’t be long until we see everything. Enjoy your Falcon! @@DarkBluishGray
This will be my first millennium falcon. It's like a smaller version of the UCS one and looks almost as good and fits on my shelf. And costs much less.
I always love your reviews, they are genuine and point out the good and bad. Plus you don't take it too seriously. I don't think I will get it since I don't have an extra $85 just lying around, but if I can find a good sale, I might pick it up.
The model looks awesome, but I don't understand why the cockpit has a flat front. They should have used a "Plate, Round 2 x 2 with Rounded Bottom (Boat Stud)" (2654) which would have had the perfect curvature. It's not like LEGO® can't put prints on this element. They've done it before multiple times (for example a space hatch pattern for the Saturn V or a hamburger bun pattern or multiple eye patterns).
Nah, they absolutely could and should have added Han (also cad and what not for the others) not to mention how much they ask for the amount you get, I know they’re small pieces but it’s still not worth what you pay for how little you get scale wise.
Hey, fantastic review! Well done! I got a question about the tube, can you tell how long it is or what the part number for the tube is. It should be on the inventory page at the end of the instructions. That would be amazing!!!

Me too. I hate stickers. Not just applying them, but like you said they deteriorate over time.

Yeah I'm much into the display capabilities than the interior space of play sets. I'm really digging this.
2:24 how have you never seen this ribbed hose element before? It was used for the Millennium Falcon in 2011, 2015, 2017 (UCS) and 2018.
Never had a Millennium Falcon before this one, so I thought it was a cool piece. I'm no expert haha.
That intro was so good haha.
$85 for this is rough.
It is pretty steep. I'd say waiting for a 20% off sale would be a good idea.
pre-ordered it here in australia and waved goodbye to 150 bucks (about 100 usd)
@@theblitzinkiller jeez idk how anyone in Australia affords this hobby
@@FabuBrik we don't (companies usually convert their usd prices and round up by another 20-50 dollars australian)
Looks good. I like the micro one that comes with a minifig. It’s cute, cheap, and looks like a piece of art.

Very cool. I didn't know that. Clearly this is my first one haha
the original midi scale falcon also used it

It's a very limited space for the engines. Guess the tube made most sense?
The side circles seem a bit disproportionately big, and it could use a belly gun. Other than that,...yeah, its pretty cool. 😎
This is so good! The stand is a really nice touch to display this. I would definately get this, however, I already have a millenium falcon build 😮
Totally get that. It's a little pricy too.

@@sirw7630 I'm sure someone else with a bigger more successful channel will have a more comprehensive video on it as well :)
not for long, I'm hoping so hard the dark one is coming soon

Exactly what I thought too.
nice review

Do you know how many bags the set has?

@@DarkBluishGray thanks bro great video!
This single product has awoken a sleeping lego giant in me. They just won a metric butt ton of my hard earned cash.

(No stickers is nice)
Great review! $85? Yeah, that’s not too bad. I think I need to purchase this 🤘
The set is great but that price is way too high

It strangely isn't included on the inventory pages. It's 6 inches.
Thats odd ... Are you sure its 6 inch and not 5.9 ? I am already working on a mod and i need to be sure... @@DarkBluishGray
@@danielmarks I guess it's closer to
5 and 5/8 inches
No Stickers..... Amazing! 😃
Finally… the new video I was promised
I said SOON :)
@@DarkBluishGray I didn’t think tomorrow would be that soon lmao
This set is redundant if you have the 2010 version which has better proportioned mandibles
I think this one looks better in every way.
There's something wrong with the front of yours.
