    I've done what I can to clear out the dpf also using your video was very helpful for the using those pipes to put down the cleaner. Unfortunately I only have a cheap ebay style ODBII scanner and using the Torque app on my phone. It definitely seems to be cleared out the DPF but all I can do is clear the error codes which they automatically come straight back on after it's finished clearing them. I have both the exact same codes you got and it's also a Mitsubishi Outlander. Just wondering is there a way to trick it into thinking I've put a new DPF on without using your tablet reader? Cheers and thanks for posting this video too 👍

      No it has to be programmed. But only if the differential pressure is low enough

    Hi,
    I have the exact Mitsubishi Outlander with DPF check, would you able to clean the DPF. I have rang your number several times, no answer. Love watching your videos. Many thanks.

    Very informative video, cheers. I've a 2013 Outlander with 4N14 diesel engine. DPF system service warning light showed up for the second time in 8 months, but my error is P252F (oil engine level too high). Had oil changed last October. The mechanic said almost 10 litres of oil/fuel mix came out. And here we are again with the same error. Engine has high enough mileage...around 175,000 miles on the clock. Do you think its something a DPF clean could fix?

      Yes dpf clean should help

      I have got 2015 Outlander 2.2 DI-D. I can give you advice. Every time you change engine oil you need to reset oil level by using a diagnostics. It's important for correct regeneration of DPF. When your oil level is too high, the controller displays that there is something wrong with DPF. Oil level is too high when it is matching the symbol "X" on oil stick in engine.

      I recommend you to watch the hose from the turbo to the intercooler. If there are any cracks, from where the air could hiss, it cas causs that the DPF regeneration is launched too often (in my case it was every 50 km, I guess).

    I've had my DPF cleaned out on car with wynns cleaner - cleared a load of smoke out the back. Unfortunately, back into limp mode again a day later showing 20mb pressure on idle. On balance am I looking at a new DPF in your experience? I'd get you on the job but I'm out of your area ;)

      @@ORileysAutos No other codes showing. It was only after I'd replaced the DPF pipes, after getting hissing noise, that the car started playing up. Maybe soot had been building for a while. Oh, I also replaced the sensor for good measure.

    Jimmy, doesn't there come a point where the DPF needs to be changed or taken off and have forced pressure cleaning to remove the ash? My understanding is that the ash can't be removed by just spraying a liquid into the DPF, or am I wrong?

    • @tamer9537

      you are correct. ash cannot be removed by this method

      Taking the DPF off to connect it to a machine makes no sense to me. Once it's full with flush fluid and I start the car the engine pressure forces it out with possibly more pressure anyway

    • @stiggyness1976
      @stiggyness1976 Рік тому

      @@ORileysAutos Yeah it cleans the soot out, but not the ash, the ash can not be burned off. It needs to be washed out properly. Sooner or later DPFs fill up with ash and leaves little space for soot to be collected. When it gets to that change it needs to be washed out properly or the DPF needs to be replaced.

    Ive an outlander....POS bought 1year old with 9K on the clock £21000 60k miles done now. Just outside of 5 year warranty. Cracked manifold. Fumes in the cabin. Replaced for £750. Top of engine rebuilt by Mitsubishi. £1200. Check DPF error. The engine was full of diluted oil/diesel as the regen wasnt running due to cracked manifold. Had the oil replaced and service done. 3 months later the check DPF is back. No regen. Needs initialised again and cleaned. Just discovered the boost pipe busted. Mitsubishi tried to charge me £500 to replace. I got one online for £50 and stuck it in myself. DPF now needs reinitialised. Engine again full of diluted oil. For Sale £13000 ono 😂
