Yes, the foam hardens and becomes more brittle with age. Definitely worth checking the date and upgrading if it is old.

I wonder why the Dutch have this higher speed impact measure? Since their E Bikes are slower than what most people can pedal on a heavy duty Schwinn 1 speed bike?

I always find issues with helmets bumping my prescription glasses. Do you have this issue with any of these helmets?

I have not had issues with either of these helmets with my glasses. These and the Smith helmets work well with glasses in my experience.

Did you try XNITO? It is NTA 8776 certified

We have not tried that helmet yet, but good to see it has that certification.
