Hey Mitch, first of all, thank you for your service to our country. I'm a new subscriber to your channel because of vinyl tag 2025 and glad I discovered it! Excellent answers especially with The Who and Zeppelin! Once again, I'm glad I discovered your channel and look forward to watching more of your videos! Merry Christmas, happy holidays and happy new year! Best, Steve
Hey Mitch great response, that’s what’s great about the tag it helps you find others in the vinyl community. We have very similar tastes, liked and subbed. I will be doing my tag in the new year 👍
Great video Mitch!! Thank you VERY much for the shoutout 😊 - really liked how you interpreted the Dylan lyrics - never thought of it that way before! Look forward to seeing more of your videos and partnering on some together 👍🇺🇸
@@graybeardsnation thank you for the kind words and also for stopping by the channel. Would love to do some sort of collaboration with you within the next few weeks or so. I’ll send you an email this week and we can set something up 🤙. Would like to bring in vinyl latte too if he’s available and other guests for like a roundtable discussion, I think that would be cool.
Hey Mitch, I created the Tag. That Stooges find is a winner. I’m a big Pearl Jam fan. Recently saw them in Vancouver for their last tour. Can’t argue about John Bonham. Love all your choices including that Dire Straits first album. Thanks for making a Vinyl Tag video.
@@PrettyGreenVinylGuy Appreciate the comment! This was definitely a fun video to do and I really liked the questions you created. These are things that the vinyl community should definitely do more of, I think it’s a great way to get more people involved. Seeing Pearl Jam definitely would’ve been awesome, glad you were able to see them.
Hello Mitch,Im Paul...Stooges and Steely to start you bet ya...I know that some would say that Nirvana album is overrated but I still dig it 30 + years later...I would say imo that the 1st 3 or 4 PJ records were best..Always loved Queen ..Zep,Beatles,Floyd all great stuff some would say timeless.I subbed to you btw..that GNR album was the best for them imo...great stuff great tag.Thanx for sharing and take care
Great picks Mitch! Nice grab on the Stooges. I agree hard on the desert pick when you said that there isn’t a bad track on the DS S/T, that entire album smokes. Personally, BIA is my favorite, but the S/T is a strong contender. 💪
@@VinylLatte i’m working on trying to get an OG Funhouse, but that is proving pretty difficult. I have the Rhino AAA cut done back in 2010ish and it sounds pretty good to me. Hopefully I can score some stuff in Raleigh this weekend 🤙🤘👍
Hi Mitch - the tag has brought your channel up on my feed - looks like we started a channel at similar times - have subbed and will catch up on your catalogue- I’ll get my 2025 tag video up eventually! - some great records shown there !
Hi Mitch, the tags are great to introduce us to channels we weren't aware of. I've subbed and look forward to seeing more of your videos in the future. I hope the Washington show was a good one. I'm planning on doing the Wilson shows this year, (also put on by Phil) so if you make it there please stop by and say hi. Nice seeing some of your favorite records.
@@elliottcrews4997 thanks for stopping by the channel! I’ll be heading to the Raleigh record show on Sunday and I’ll give you guys an update on if I find anything. I would say the first Stooges is a great choice for best purchase. I like Pearl Jam but they didn’t make it into my 25 greatest US bands video. From 1969 to 1972 the Rolling Stones were great live. Get Yer Ya Ya’s Out is very good. I wish it didn’t have a Chuck Berry song on each side. One on the album would have been fine. I am also a fan of Got Live If You Want It. At least the mono version. The stereo version is SH!T. I would sat Got Live is the first Punk album. I’m going to do the vinyl tag on New Years. My political comment will be similar to yours though I won’t single anyone out. Darkness On The Edge Of Town is my favorite Bruce Springsteen. I remember Jazz albums in Goodwill for less than $1. I have roughly one cube of Jazz albums. Half of those are Miles Davis. I bought about 6 of the Black Jazz reissues and 2 Tone Poets. But I’m pretty much done with Jazz. Like A Rolling Stone is a great choice for best 3 lyrics.
Hi Mitch! I think we had 4 answers in common on our lists. I’m with you that Pearl Jam is the best American band. Their longevity and creativity stand out as well as how great they are as a live band.
Washington NC huh? Im here in New Bern✌️ edit: i have no problem with your choice for best American rock band ever.. but ill always raise you Alice in Chains if we're drawing from that vein😁 i dont remember that RSD Doors comp, sounds amazing
