To those who haven't seen it. Don't let all these "The trailer shows too much" comments discourage you. Trust me there's a lot in the movie that isn't given away in this trailer. It's a good movie give it a go.
holly It gives away two thirds of the movie because that's the best part of the movie and that is very dull. Very bad movie and becomes very tedious watching this heap of cow dung.Had to walk out.
Every single motherfucking trailer gives all the plot twists these days.... Only teasers are worth it (or maybe just not watching the second half of every trailer to spare yourself from spoilers).
If the whole plot (or even 2/3 of it) is shown in the trailer, then watching the movie is meaningless. Most trailers today only make you wanna watch the last 20 minutes because that's the only part that MAYBE they didn't spoil in the trailer...
orestisDisturbed The plot is just the general info for the story. We don't know how this plays out or where it will lead. We don't know all of the scenes or any of the twists.
Tommy WM I feel like any movie can be summed up in other movies. Originality doesn't equal quality all the time. For instance:Dances with Wolves + The Pianist = Schindler's List
I remember watching at the theater when there was nothing else to watch. It was surprisingly good. Shame small sci-fi releases like this don't get much attention.
Sadly it might be the industry cult who doesn't want to promote good movies by small Directors like Tarsem Singh ( Indian ). I recommend to watch his movies. One of his early movies also has lean Henry Cavill before Superman.
Just finished watching this one, and I gotta say, I enjoyed this movie very much. But alas, like with almost all trailers these days, they pretty much sum up the whole movie in a couple minute video... I would still recommend that you watch it, though. Rule *#1* of Hollywood movies: DON'T WATCH THE FU***NG TRAILERS!
A perfect example on how NOT to create a trailer. Absolutely no need to see the film now. The entire film told in two and a half minutes leaving nothing to the imagination, and certainly not leaving me wanting to see more. Complete balls-up.
See.. Now THIS is the sort of orginality one misses in Hollywood on a month-to-month basis... That concept is freakin awesome! Bit revealing trailer imo, but still something I'll be watching! Can't wait!
If you wanna watch a movie look around. We are living in one. Wake up! These movies are only documentaries telling us what is really going on in our world.
Just watched this. Was surprised, reviews seemed to bury this movie. I actually really enjoyed it. Sure it has some flaws but overall I had fun with it, and that's all that matters.
I hate people who complain about that. You know what happens, but you don't know how. You don't know the details of why choices were made. You know the chapter titles, but not the story.
Sword Spirit Hollow Soul Reaper Tensa Zangetsu Who Uses Computers i hate people who complain about other people over something so subjective. i know that in order to steal a life, you have to take a life. based on the way he is reacting, it is most likely a spoiler. maybe the audience knows all along and the main character doesnt, but it is still a major spoiler.
Michael Sheridan But I hate when people think just because a few plot points that are needed to explain the god damn plot are put in the trailer, that it's EVERY TWIST and EVERY MAJOR PLOT POINT in the movie, which in many cases it just isn't. i wish I could remember which movie did it, but one movie only showed plot points that led viewers down the 'main road' if the plot and none of the true story that had all the moral choices, twists, and so forth. They completely gave away most of the movie, but without watching it we'll never understand why or what the ending choice is. Hell, the way I see it Reynolds either dies in the body of the other guy willingly, finds a way into a different body that's morally correct. Shit, he might even end up unwillingly taking over the guy completely. We don't know what happens or why. We only know the conflict, how it started, and the motivation and moral choice to not steal the life of the person's body he has.
Surprisingly good film. Good tight storytelling, good acting, well edited. It's not OMG best movie ever but I can't believe this wasn't a bigger hit, if you're scrolling the comments to see if you should watch it, it's a great popcorn film.
First time I've EVER been glad I read the comments first; thank you everyone, you saved me from a spoiler filled trailer. I'll watch the film in the dark :L
As a neurologist I experience this sort of thing day-in, day-out. This is basically my day, switching patients' minds, mixing things up a little, of course heartlessly keeping crucial information away from patients, because of course as any film would tell you, medicine and science are built on a solid foundation of apathy and emotionless malice...
Rainy Jane If you got all of your information from Hollywood, you would wonder why the hell humans ever stopped living in caves. As for me I'm just counting down the days until technology lets me run off to the next star system down the proverbial galactic road, preferably with my emotionless neurologist who keeps my brain from reverting to its old personality ;)
Rainy Jane If it makes you feel any better, they don't portray physicists as anything but cold and socially debilitated egotistical creatures with nothing but their own interests at heart.
Rainy Jane: Don't be silly and give me those pills to unlock 100% of my brain already, so that i can become a billionaire and beat down people with kung-fu with no need to train whatsoever.
Rainy Jane I find it hard to believe you're a neurologist - your punctuation and spelling are too good. Besides, your nick and your avatar pic don't match.
I just came here from the nines trailer? I feel robbed that these two aren’t more popular. Can’t say I’ve watched either yet- but to me, concept goes a long way and these two are super cool. I hide when interesting movies get buried, excited to watch them both!
I just finished watching this movie on Netflix and I SUPER LOVE IT! I thought it was only gonna be about his life, but it was an action movie. WHAT THE WHAT?!?! YEAAAAAH!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥😎🤘🏻
I was very impressed with Reynolds in this one he basically played three guys in one and absolutely killed it. I’ve seen some hate online but I don’t get it at all first off it was a awesome plot written great casted even better and the fight scenes were really good. All in all this is a really good movie in my opinion the ending twist gives you a lot of emotion and I think Reynolds should have got some type of award for this one.
wow my name is Mark I almost died from server brain injury and now I am working and helping with my three daughters again this is a touching and helpful movie, thanks
It's my favourite movie. Its the best movie I have seen as of now. The end is superb. And the idk why but the movie is criminally underrated. And non sense reviews have been given online. The movie has next to next level potential. Great movie. A total must watch.

At least it was its own thing. But I do agree on After Earth (The Will smith one, not the animation of the 90s.)

I would never want to switch with Anybody. The only body I want to be is Babette but she is an animation character by 3rdArt. One day I will be reborn into her.
I used to fantasize about going to a "body shop" and picking a perfect body piece by piece long before this movie came out so I like the concept of it even though their angle is slightly different. In my fantasy I could only have the "perfect body" for 20 years after that I gradually start to look like how I would had I not bought that body.
Just finished watching this 10 minutes ago. DAMN THIS IS GOOD! I love the scenes but sadly the ending made this movie put to an end for possible sequel. =(

If you scrolling through the comments to see if u should watch the movie then... yes i recommend it, it’s pretty good.😂💯
Thanks, I will watch it.
You are i am here not to watch trailer just here for comment like this
thx bro
Thanks you're right man 😂
thanks i will give it a shot
Remember the days when Movie trailers didnt give away 2 thirds of a movie ? I miss those days.
R.I.P. to those days
When you get home from your job dont forget to yell at the kids to get off your lawn. Moron.
Sjrick i cant disagree. Its so true :(
Sjrick right?? i was thinking the same thing while watching this!! no point in seeing the movie
holly It gives away two thirds of the movie because that's the best part of the movie and that is very dull.
Very bad movie and becomes very tedious watching this heap of cow dung.Had to walk out.
Looks like it could be pretty good. Finally a movie that's not a reboot. A fresh concept.
Being Ryan Renolds. XD
Exactly why it'll bomb even if it's good.
Are you sure? How about the movie "Freejack" with Mick Jagger from 1992? :->
Tiraczc Kind of reminds me of Vanilla Sky, of course different but has that vibe.
face off dude. but still new
Manderin and Deadpool in the same movie, yay!
***** Yes, he will be playing deadpool.
Y'know what they share in common? Playing fake versions of the superheroes...

He's talking about Wolverine:Origins, that DP is retconned.

You have to show the plot to make people be interested in watching the movie in the FIRST place LOL!! It's necessary.
What a unique and original plot...
Vanilla Sky + Avatar + Freaky Friday + loud Alien/Prometheus trailer music = THIS!
Don't forget "Seconds" from 1966. More tech added, but that's about it.
TheStockwell that was my thought, but no one has seen that film so they will rip it off
TheStockwell Agreed. This is nothing more than a modern take on "Seconds"

i like trailers.

What if... this is a troll-movie... and it's actually Deadpool?
Don't threaten me with a good time
A perfect example on how NOT to create a trailer. Absolutely no need to see the film now. The entire film told in two and a half minutes leaving nothing to the imagination, and certainly not leaving me wanting to see more. Complete balls-up.
It’s really annoying. But this film was genuinely great. Still give it a go
Better go and watch the movie. It's not just switching body and get immortal like the trailer says. It's way better.
See.. Now THIS is the sort of orginality one misses in Hollywood on a month-to-month basis... That concept is freakin awesome!
Bit revealing trailer imo, but still something I'll be watching!

Just watched this on Netflix. Movie was so good. I love the mystery and thriller aspect of it. Really kept me on my toes and wanting more.
Great movie!! I was crying my eyes out!! Great acting by the whole cast, and a very interesting story too!
Yeah! It would be cool if we got a mini series of Mark and his family that would lead up to this movie.
Life is a gift, people need to just enjoy what they have instead of messing around with what they think they need
Amen ❤️🙏
This is an under rated movie. I freakin love it. Especially the ending.
That last fight in the lab was awesome
I swear Ryan Reynalds is one lucky guy, goes to show if you got the looks you can make it. I mean it's just him he plays in everyone of his movies.
Remember Face/Off?
I think this one's Body/Off
John Travolta and Nicholas Cage

Very very good movie, I recommend watching it. I am not a movie fanatic because most movies now a days are pretty lame but this one is one of the better ones I have watched in years.
Man, I loved Ryan Reynolds ever since I saw him in Blade. Glad to seem him appear in such a cool movie.
yooo what lmao
the actor of blade runner was Ryan Gosling, not Reynolds
but yeah, they both look pretty the same
never thought i'd post one of these comments, but the trailer really spoiled the whole movie
yup
Mathew Goode as a handsome geeky villain.... who am I rooting for again??
this movie is f*ing phenomenal.
the actors were f*ing amazing. the chemistry was on point. love love love it.

This. Movie. Was. So. Good. The theme surrounding this movie was to be "selfless" and not selfish. Watch this movie!!
The Lazarus Effect 2 + Transcendence 2: Eletric Boogaloo
Why don't people have Ryan Reynolds more serious roles? He's pretty good in this pretty serious movie

This is a great movie, the trailer actually didn't give the whole movie away
like I thought it would.
Isn't this the movie Karl Pilkington thought of?
+PaintraSeaPea Explain please
+PaintraSeaPea I thought the same thing!
Ben Naylor can you explain!!!
UA-cam The ricky gervais podcast. You won't regret it
Ben Naylor aye i've seen it before hi just didn't get the reference to it, can't remember him saying something similar
Watching a movie filmed 5 minutes away from your house crazyyy
This looks so amazing. I hope this movie lives up to expectations set by the trailer.
It did
I watched the movie before I saw the trailer and loved it. I don't get why there is so much criticism (for the movie, not the trailer)
Just finished watching this 10 minutes ago. DAMN THIS IS GOOD! I love the scenes but sadly the ending made this movie put to an end for possible sequel. =(
Movie was awesome! And the trailer totally gives away everything, so glad I listened to the comments
I love movies that teach us what it means to be human, quite eye opening if you'd ask me.
oh good, the trailer included the twist and basically what happens from start to finish
Before he gained invulnerability as the Deadpool, he reached immortality as The Mandarin.
X-Men Origins: Deadpool
Man I am so pumped that there have been so many new sci fi movies coming out with decent plots!
Underrated movie

This is how people made trailer in the old days, i mean old days when there's no internet.
Watching him walk around in his trench coat reminded me of Castiel from Supernatural
An interesting movie full of ideas.
I don't think they all work but I think they are extremely interesting.

I love Ryan Reynolds movies, he just brings such a twist. Can be funny, serious, violent, scary, etc...I gotta see this and Deadpool
Ryan Rynolds is getting better and better.
Why do I never learn? Never watch the trailer before the movie, just read the description.
why do i feel like ive seen the movie... what a comprehensive trailer
A perfect piece of art!.. I knew the movie was going to be good but not GREAT!
Three of my favorite actors in one, hell yeh! This looks promising.
I'm watched movie yesterday and i can say the movie is excellent!!! I recommended to watch movie :)
Ouch, that movie bumped so hard opening week ...
ok, when I clicked on this video, the ad was the trailer for Selfless, how freaky is that.
am I the only one who stop half way the trailer so I don't spoil for myself? I do it in every trailer I think I might like.

Alex Le trill XD i knew that the trailer would spoil much of the movie but i did it because i am used to it.
