I 100% agree, releasing Nostalgia Ultra makes sense. He always wanted it to be his first album but the samples couldn't get cleared. Now years later I can see all the beef being squashed and letting it be released.

this might be a stretch but i think he will only release NU on streaming platforms for coachella. he always wanted it to be his first album & finally getting to play it live would be a dream come true for him. i think if he does drop new music it will be in september (maybe sept 30th) & dedicating the new album to his brother, whose birthday is sept. 1st. this would make sense since Channel Orange was released July 10th & Blonde was released August 20th. You never really know with frank but considering his podcasts on blonded radio, it seems he was in fact recording new music in malibu & inspired by psychedelic trips/ substances. i wouldn’t be surprised if he even recorded a new record with tame impala, who recorded a lot of his last album in Los Feliz Oaks close to Thousand Oaks where his brother passed. Correct me if I’m wrong. I’m excited to listen to something heartfelt but also upbeat. Releasing his grief into the beyond.
