Beleive it or not pizza cutting is probably the most irritating part of this job. You could make a 10/10 pizza and screw it all up by not cutting it evenly or with enough force. God forbid its during a rush and your not on the ball. Great work in this video.
When I worked there it was really easy.. but I got so fast at just the regular pizza cutter. That useless piece of metal was too inconsistent at cutting through the pizza

honestly i live around many great pizza spots (chicagoland area) but they're all insanely expensive especially in this economy. dominos has those crazy good deals for the medium 2 topping pizzas, though i end up nullifying that by getting the pan crust. plus their pizza is FIRE. if you like alfredo, get the pan crust alfredo with chicken and bacon. get it well done/extra bake and throw some fresh spinach and crushed red pepper on it when you get home, crazy good.

Imagine being at that station with a full kitchen screaming behind you, and a full house of screaming families in front of you. Then imagine you're 16, making like $5.50 per hour, lol. Sometimes I wish I could go back. The skeevy delivery guys, the cute cashier girls, smoking your first joint in the parking lot after work... You looked at the world through different eyes back then.
The fact that I counted at least 15 pizzas coming out of one small oven was making me think that they were just spawning in like I thought I was losing my mind like I was just stuck in an endless loop

I worked at Pizza Hut in high school yeah getting perfect cuts everytime is hard but my boy is making his own style cuts everybody getting the little ass pieces and 3 good size ones but he’s getting them out though
People need to understand that humans are humans, so what if you get a pizza that's 1mm off center of the cut or one side is a few centimeters bigger than the other. As long as the pizza was made correctly and up to standard that's all that matters, besides that small asymmetrical slice could just be given to a smaller child to enjoy while the big slice can go to some adult, if not just slice a strip off the big slice and add it to the smaller slice. People are such good complainers versus appreciators while other millions of people don't even have the luxury of having a pizza let alone even knowing what it is.
It certainly is a poor job, and it does in fact matters, regardless of how much you pretend otherwise. He does a nice job otherwise but puts literally zero effort on that one.

as a former shift runner, it looks as though you're pressing too hard when slapping, causing some thin areas in the pizza. i also noticed that you didn't dock the pizza to form the crust, event though it didn't appear to be a thin crust pizza. not sure if that is the way it's done in the us or not, but its the way we do it in the uk

@@dominicrest Not talking about the oven, I was talking about the speed of the work. I've been fired from jobs for working a lot faster than that on my FIRST day. I'd be moving in there like a superhuman cyborg at least 100% faster than this after a few months on the job.

It definitely is a net positive for Domino’s the corporation, but my specific store not so much…
You go too fast and suffer in quality. The uneven slicing and the garlic oil sometimes doesn’t land on the crust. Suggest you are slower.

as a former shift runner, it looks as though you're pressing too hard when slapping, causing some thin areas in the pizza. i also noticed that you didn't dock the pizza to form the crust, event though it didn't appear to be a thin crust pizza. not sure if that is the way it's done in the us or not, but its the way we do it in the uk
mostly everything is different at dominos at different countries.

Lol these dominos look like godlike pizza compared to my local domino's pizza quality. these look delicious, mines are dry, overfilled with tomato sauce and the pizza dough is too wide
