Man, taking me back to the days where I used to work at Papa John's. Hated it every second, but i was still in high school back then and money was money. Lunch and dinner rush was just as busy, especially cause it was around the richer community and they just ordered SO MUCH. You're just as fast as my boss was, and that's saying something

The fact that I counted at least 15 pizzas coming out of one small oven was making me think that they were just spawning in like I thought I was losing my mind like I was just stuck in an endless loop
honestly i live around many great pizza spots (chicagoland area) but they're all insanely expensive especially in this economy. dominos has those crazy good deals for the medium 2 topping pizzas, though i end up nullifying that by getting the pan crust. plus their pizza is FIRE. if you like alfredo, get the pan crust alfredo with chicken and bacon. get it well done/extra bake and throw some fresh spinach and crushed red pepper on it when you get home, crazy good.

All my life, dominos has always been my first choice when it comes from a chain fast food pizza spot, if it’s not from a local pizza place usually I’ll hop in there for a slice or 2 for lunch every now and again.
When I used to work at dominos that’s what they’d do best almost absolutely nothing besides a select couple the cook aka insiders did all the hard work managers too the drivers sucked fat balls
As a former Delivery Driver, he may have already did them or someone else is already doing them. Managers say "There's always something to do." but that's just a straight up lie
One of my first jobs was working at Pizza Hut; totally respect the hustle. Just amazed at how much more efficient the oven to box method is. We used to dirty so many pans at the end of the day, we had a pan gripper, and we would fold tons and tons of boxes to grab from above at the cutting station; Never thought about it, but cutting on the box and folding it would have saved me SO much freaking time back then. What’s up with the blue cheese trays though? lol.
Oven to box method is much more efficient! The blue cheese trays make it easier to refill the cheese when needed. We prep it from the cardboard box to the tray.

I miss working at my first job… It was at a local pizza joint owned and managed by an Italian family. Great people, amazing pizza, but really crap pay. This was also during Covid, so we were practically relying on tips for our paychecks. I ended up getting laid off due to the place shutting down for renovations, but I was already on my way out before the announcement came.
I wish my local dominos had plain cheese pizza as consistent and beautiful as the ones you pulled out. Too often do i get an overcooked dry pizza. At 6:48 can i ask why there is randomly a pool of greese on that pizza where the others didnt?

We went on vacation to the USA expecting domino's to be kinda ass because it's terrible in the EU but US Domino's slaps so hard. The pan pizza was just godly and we went to multiple domino's locations after having a taste of the first one.
People need to understand that humans are humans, so what if you get a pizza that's 1mm off center of the cut or one side is a few centimeters bigger than the other. As long as the pizza was made correctly and up to standard that's all that matters, besides that small asymmetrical slice could just be given to a smaller child to enjoy while the big slice can go to some adult, if not just slice a strip off the big slice and add it to the smaller slice. People are such good complainers versus appreciators while other millions of people don't even have the luxury of having a pizza let alone even knowing what it is.
It certainly is a poor job, and it does in fact matters, regardless of how much you pretend otherwise. He does a nice job otherwise but puts literally zero effort on that one.

Markings would do literally nothing. If you can't do a basic 8 slice cut, it isn't the job for you.

As long as the pizza was made correctly and up to standard that's all that matters, besides that small asymmetrical slice could just be given to a smaller child to enjoy while the big slice can go to some adult, if not just slice a strip off the big slice and add it to the smaller slice.
People are such good complainers versus appreciators while other millions of people don't even have the luxury of having a pizza let alone even knowing what it is.
