  • WIEIAD after losing 3 stone and maintaining 11 years
    This is an honest post, to show that not every day is “perfect” when I’m due on I get soooo hungry! And all I want is beige food and chocolate (I don’t have cadburys in the house anymore because it’s my vice).
    I know this isn’t the healthiest day but I never feel guilty about having a day like this anymore because it doesn’t lead to a downward spiral for me. If anything, I need to let it go for a day and fully enjoy whatever I want before I can move on and get back to my normal routine again.
    It’s ok to feel s*%t sometimes, it’s ok to eat s%#t sometimes, what’s not ok is beating yourself up for it, jumping on the scales, restricting and punishing yourself afterwards.
    I don’t sleep well when I’m due on, I’m even starting to get the night sweats (I’m 41) and things are getting harder to manage when I feel super tired and low. But I’ve learned the mood passes quickly and soon becomes a whole other mood entirely! weirdly I was in hysterical laughter last night with jim and Finley before bed (I am literally like a crazy woman).
    If you feel like this, please know you’re not alone and please know that days like this ain’t maintenance are still normal.
