Ashamed to say, I've never heard of this incredibly talented human being before... I was just kind of skimming through, looking for something new to listen to and found this amazing artist that blew me away. I was first caught by the imagery, then the sound immediately caught me off guard. Pair the two, and I was hooked! The dance was beautiful, but so was the lyrics and voice. I had to stop in the middle to write this comment because I was getting so caught up in the song I was afraid I would forget...it's an age thing...haha. I knew I would want to view it a few more times to get the full impact...that's a "me" thing. What a beautiful talent!

As a former dancer, I loved this. As a many years long Dermot fan, I cannot get over how his vocals and presence are just getting better and better. His humble swagger when he walks, and his amazing eye contact are showing his growth and maturity as an artist and as a person. This is continuing to be an amazing journey for him and for us as fans.

Even if I am fan for 3 years now, I've listened to this song hundreds (or maybe thousands) of times - it always makes me emotional, hopeful and happy at the same time. And this goes for Dermot's entire music. And the live version is even more powerful.

There aren’t enough like buttons for this song/video. Dermont Kennedy is such a gifted, talented and creative human being. His voice is mesmerizing (OK I’m kind of partial to that whole Irish accent that comes through every so often). One person commented something to the effect: “This should be our anthem for this time in our life considering what is going on in the world”. I 100% agree.

I understand you, because the same happened with me in 01/01/2020. My day started with my mom hugging me, kissing me, saying "Happy new year", laughing and finished same way. I felt a huge impotence, but I know that she will always be with me, in my heart. With this song I cry, with "paradise" I find forces to continue walking, one step each day, because I am really tired to resist and we deserve to be happy, my mom would like it. Be strong!
