    I have a 2022 mt 07 with Akrapovic full exhaust with the db killer removed, power commander v, with some cosmetic upgrades. In love with the bike and I have to make sure I don’t give it too much attention that the wife gets jealous. Truly appreciate your vids, I wouldn’t of attempted the exhaust install without it.

      @@BradTheBuilderChannel I did email Dynojet’s customer support explaining that I had a 2022 and that there wasn’t any fuel maps for it other than stock. I asked if running the 2021 full Yoshi exhaust would work and if they had plans to add more maps. They responded that they’re always putting out more maps and recommend I use the 22-099-005 LeoVince full exhaust (db killer removed), Dynojet airbox lid map. I installed it and definitely felt a difference. I went on their website to see about other Dynojet products for my bike and noticed that they’re discontinuing the PCV for our bikes. Wondering if you’ve heard anything about it? Seems like they’re going in the PC6 direction and I just hope they continue to support the V and whatever maps for the 6 they come out with it crosses over. Also, the air box, do you believe it’s worth the upgrade?

    • @BradTheBuilderChannel
      @BradTheBuilderChannel  2 роки тому +1

      @@justicehall4776 I did notice they updated to powercommander 6 but in all honesty I don’t think much has changed. The company has been around a long time and I’m confident they will continue to make more tunes. I haven’t done any modifications to my airbox simply to restrict the engine and make sure it’s getting enough fuel. People comment saying it helps a lot. Without doing it myself though I’m not sure how worth it, it is.

    First vid of yours I've seen. I bought a brand new MT-07 same year and color as you. Had it for 2 months and 2 weeks before a drunk driver took a left in front of me while I was going 50mph. Luckily I'm all good and the bike was just a broken rim and bent forks, but the mechanic put down that I need an exhaust so I'm again getting the exact same as yours lol. Insurance told me with 2k miles it was valued at $13k with current inflation 😮

    First of all congratulations, this is the best sounding video for mt07 I ever found. Question: is there any difference between the akapovici exausts for mt07?,(your model and the one which is lower hanging underneath the engine)Just purchased a mt07 and I would like to make it sound like yours but I like the look of the one hanging lower underneath.

    • @BradTheBuilderChannel
      @BradTheBuilderChannel  2 роки тому +1

      The titanium version underneath has a catalytic converter in it and can be Euro 5 compliant where as mine does not have a catalytic converter. The one underneath can have the baffle taken out but will not be as loud as mine is. That is with the db killer in on my video too. I absolutely love it!! Thanks for the kind works as well

    Did you make your own map for the akra? I just put a power commander 6 on my mt07 and am waiting for ups to drop off my akrapovic exhaust. But looking at dyno jets website the only tune for the pc6 on an mt07 is the stock tune, not sure if I can use a PCV tune on the 6 or not, but even if there are no tunes for akra only yoshi and leovince.
    edit: Spoke with dynojet, PC6 CANNOT use PCV maps. They said running the improved stock tune is good enough with the new exhaust but the ideal thing to do is get the autotuner or go get it onto a dyno to get a more specific tune. Hopefully this will help out some other people. Also you're the best for making all these videos man! I am doing the exact same setup so your videos have helped me out a TON. That power commander install was kinda a pain but it helped a ton having a video to walk me through.

    • @BradTheBuilderChannel
      @BradTheBuilderChannel  2 роки тому

      This is great information and I really appreciate you sharing with me. I have been running the yoshi tune on mine since I installed it. You can go in and adjust stuff too but I do minimal changes. The auto tuner would be nice but one thing to note is you will need two ports for your O2 sensor on the bike and the auto tuner separate on the exhaust pipe. You would have to have a shop weld the port on that they include. It’s a lot of extra money to get the whole setup.
      Thanks for saying that man! I put a lot of work into these videos and some have taken upwards of 10 hours to edit all the clips together. So much much appreciated

    • @christianfry5387
      @christianfry5387 2 роки тому +1

      @@BradTheBuilderChannel I didn’t realize you’d need 2 ports, thought it would just replace the O2 sensor but I guess that makes sense. I’m still kinda new to wrenching on bikes as I just got mine last year and haven’t messed with tuning anything whatsoever, so me tuning it is off the table until I learn more about it. And I’m in the middle of no where New Mexico and the closest shop to me is around 3-4 hours unfortunately. So guess it’s time to start learning how to tune!

    • @BradTheBuilderChannel
      @BradTheBuilderChannel  2 роки тому

      @@christianfry5387 wow that’s incredible. Yeah use as many resources online to learn. I learned a lot since from a very young age through trial and error and formal education. If you want to do it, you can learn. That’s the beauty of the internet. Just don’t be afraid to dive in. If you mess something up that’s how learn. It’s hard to mess things up major anyways.

      I’m not sure if there are other places with maps. I would give dynojet a call. They have always been helpful to me with good customer service.
