    If you go to a company that sells acoustic installation they can supply neoprene in various thickness with a self adhesive already applied.
    I bought 1/2 inch (but they do thicker) to insulate both sides of the bulkhead of my panel van and it worked great.

    BRO! You're living my dream life!
    I'm saving for your whole set up.
    Steelbird, armour, 16x, pads and all!
    I had an idea to use garage car door stoppers from Home Depot, maybe try it out.
    They are thick pads that people put in their garages to stop from hitting their doors on the wall.
    Also, I hear you should lower your air pressure a tiny bit for best performance while jumping.
    -You got it though. I'll keep living vicariously through you man!

    That is a outstanding job. Hopping up the sidewalk is all I need. Question, who is the lady you ride with? She has amazing skills. Did she learn how to ride before you?

      LOL..Ashley aka Showtime ...I actually taught her but she has put a lot more hours in on the wheel since.

    How's that motor cross armor holding up? I see it available on eBay for $30 but it doesn't look like the mesh/fabric is very durable. Also looking at armored leather motorcycle jackets too. I won't be upgrading to the KS16X untill the spring, so I have time to look around. Thanks for the videos.

      I love the Armor and it’s durable but some are better made than others. This is my 2nd one. This one is better. You’ll love the 16X

    How much do you weight? 115 kg for me and I don't feel this wheel great. It pushes me out when I take a turn or on a bump

    • @ThaBlackCobra
      @ThaBlackCobra  4 роки тому

      I am 230 pounds which is about 105 kg and I really like riding this wheel. I think it’s a great size for 95% of people. I will admit however after writing the Sherman and the V 11 for a while this did feel a little small to me when I got back on it

    How you keep the seat down, I Velcro mine but the glue didn't hold.

    Nice! Good point on not getting in the way of the pedals! Are you still using something similar nowadays?

    • @ThaBlackCobra
      @ThaBlackCobra  4 роки тому +1

      Yes I definitely still use my Cobra Pads on my 16X I just moved them up a little higher so they don’t interfere with the pedals

    Does this help reduce speed wobbles? I dont get speed wobbles much only after running over noticable road imperfections when I bend my knees and set my self to grip the wheel with my legs. Can you give me some techniques? Thanks cobra.

    • @ThaBlackCobra
      @ThaBlackCobra  5 років тому

      Definitely having more surface to grip with the legs and feet helps with speed wobbles. I barely get any wobbles but then again I don’t push real hard. I’m not super aggressive when I ride. The best technique is definitely to grip and squeeze with your legs as you sit back and down low and ease into a stop

      @@ThaBlackCobra I recently just discovered that technique from looking at the diagram sticker on the side of the wheel. Its makes it better running thru bumps and potholes. Im still in the process of trying diff sidepad to get better grip of the wheek because the stock pads are slippery specially during hard braking.

    • @ThaBlackCobra
      @ThaBlackCobra  5 років тому

      Jed Tibon Definitely keep working on the right pads for you. I think these are excellent as long as you edit them to what works for you.

    Your tire pressure is dangerously low, the rim of the 16X bends easy, be careful.
