Thank you guys. It is a perfect explanation of state verbs.
I think that taking English courses will be a waste of time if I study with you regularly.
You have everything students need to learn English in the right way. Besides, you always simplify any rule and make it easy to understand.
You are definitely the best channel on UA-cam. What's more, everything is for free.
What an amazing channel! And how lucky we are!

A gerund is nearly always a noun, adj or adverb, I thought. In which case, in "Mick is looking at is sister" the word "is" would be the relevant stative verb and "looking" is the verb or adjective. I am thinking that is the case with a dynamic verb too. For example: "Mick is running now". "Running" is an adverb or adjective, and "is" is the relevant stative verb. Mick is in a state of running.

In fact smell is both stative verb and dynamic verb. e.g. Stative: the quality of smell possessed by something
    -The bar smells of smoke.
Action: when a person uses their nose to test something
    He’s smelling the cookies.

  • @Diana-vu3hc

How to say if we want to use in nominal ( Adjective, Adverb, Noun)
    Ex.
    I am sad right now
Or I am being sad right now?
I am in your home right now
Or I am Being in your home right now?
    Because in Present continuous Some people said, S + be + Adjective/ Adverb/ Noun but another said that S + be + being + adj/ Adv/ Noun.
    Which Those are true?
