Hi Pete My name is Leonel and I am from Buenos Aires / Argentina. I wanted to tell you that I see all the chapters that go on television since I really love your program and it inspires me so that in the future (since I'm still 15 years old and I'm a minor) I can make my own tree house. When I say that I love your creations, I really say it and with all my heart, you do a great job ... PD: I wrote all this through the google translator because at the moment I am not very good in English and it is a pity that I cannot understand your videos on UA-cam since they are in English but your houses do not need translation. A big hug from here and greetings to you and all your team ...

I just love love love me a good treehouse, but somehow I am not too crazy about such big stairs, they just seem to overpower. I have a multilevel tree fort (not a house) but I used a scaffold type stairs that kinda hugs the huge mango tree, it only takes up about a 6X9 ft. ground space.

I like Pete’s work as well. It’s an amazing experience to sleep in a treehouse, snowing, freezing cold while ur nice and warm with the wood heater on a simmer.. the tree limbs are moving just a tad, but the treehouse is built so well that u can’t tell if any trouble at all.. The Titanium reinforcement poles are strong enough to handle anything.. And Ya sleep 😴 like a baby.. Hear the bear, the raccoons 🦝 fussing every once in a while.. Very cozy feeling.. Good Night 💤🌙😴

i dont get it. ive seen a couple of these shows & i figure most of these folks are climate alarmists & so called environmentalists, but even though they already have a big footprint with their homes, pools, garages, etc...they seem to have to decimate more natural lands & trees with yet another wasteful footprint. i live & work in manhattan. my family has a summer home in the berkshires. 26 acres of woods surround our home & its understood no one shall ever chop down a tree unless its dead or dying. we love our trees & everyone who comes here to visit in in awe of the beauty & music of the woods. living in the city, ive come to really appreciate the beauty of the woods. its so tranquil & you feel like you can just be lost & alone if you want, its quiet & soothing & yet fun to watch the animals from deer to foxes & even black bears. walking around in our woods & seeing wildlife being decimated, how can people just chop down & chop up their precious trees for yet another play house that they really dont need. they buy the land for the quiet space & wood & then they ruin it w/human stuff. & the builders too...what are they thinking?! its all about making money.

I want to know why his show is on Animal Planet??? Animal Planet was supposedly about and for animals not humans building houses in tree's. The show should be in HGTV or DIY channels. I wish whoever runs Animal Planet go back and show animals 24/7/365 and take these sows and move them to appropriate networks.

instead of beam below the house; why not envision an hanging plant into a house supported by hang on ropes to the Tree? Double support down and up. Because the Flood will easily take off all lower beams. Also, envision a bobbin [thread bobbin]; that is, if that be air-crete shaped to the trunk of the tree; then the tree-home on it will be stable. I am NOT a carpenter; but, i design a more stable kind.

I sure love a good tree house or deck but what I don't like is this...2:28. I would sooner erect posts from ground up for support. Another thing I dot like are big long stairs, hanging way out away from the tree (16:45), looks odd. I would rather see the stairs closer to the house winding down or a scaffold like stairs under the treehouse.

I just love all these treehouses, I have a double deck tree deck 25 ft, up for the first deck, 35 ft. up for the second deck but I gotta tell you what I don't like, I don't like the stairs hanging way out away from the treehouse, it looks like a a turtle with a long dog leg. my stairs are scaffolding that stay under the treehouse. from the first tree deck they run down 8 stairs to a landing, then 6 stair run at a 45* angle down to another landing, then finally another 45* angle to the yard deck on the ground. the stairs that go from the first deck to the upper deck is ships ladder. Why do you do your stairs that way?

Doesn't make any sense?? Such an elaborate structure, to place it in a tree that may die or fall over. Would be no more complex to just build a house on stilts .. or better yet, on the ground so its easier to get in. ... see where this is going?? If you are going to build a tree house.. build a real one... a 100 feet up suspended from cables between trees or such... something awesomely cool.
