Brilliant! The best demo I ever seen, so many references we all know, amazing code, music and graphics. About growing up, feeding the corporate machine. Simply one of the best demos i've ever seen
This may actually be the best C64 demo I've ever witnessed, all the way from the 80ies up until this day. Amazing in every aspect! The nostalgia is extremely strong.

Love these new wave of C64 demos which tell a story. lft helped tremendously with the Spindle loader, this transition speed wouldn't be possible on a stock machine otherwise.

I agreed until the part where the protagonist tried to find a friend. I have been through that too. Realised I don’t fit anywhere, even if interests match. So I started to do my things for myself, without giving anything about what others do and think. It’s the ultimate freedom you can get! Just stay for yourself if you don’t fit anywhere and be happy with what you do, when you do it, about the thing you currently do.

Next Level by Performers was #1
The visuals for Next Level were truly next level stuff. It was technically superior to this one and pushed even more limits, especially with words Next Level spinning everywhere. I thought this one told a better story, but when Next Level added all those demos to 100 other C-64 games... they had to win.

@@citrustaco yes, i looked it up and that demo made my head explode. Although this on is more stylish and tells an amazing story. The 100 games was unbeatable.. the level of C64 is just insanely high at the moment.
Won't play on my NTSC 64 here in the states, perhaps my C64 mini can play them in PAL mode
